Quick List of 64 Rules of Thumb for Better Eating
At just over an hour long, this fast and common-sense guide pointed a general direction toward better eating -in both the what, and how.
Such a short read obviously did not contain the subtlety of narration that made Pollan's other books so interesting. It was worth the hour and 20 mins it took to read, but to me not worth the Audible credit it cost.

A tasteful treatise on uncommon sense
I live in the world and I am subject to the constant barrage of marketing surrounding the promotion of food and drugs. This story may not be profound, but it is nonetheless essential. This book helped my and my family and was well worth the time it took to understand.
I also grew up in a Betty Crocker household and Michael's story helped me understand what that is, why that is, and the potential consequences of living that way.

disappointing book by Michael pollan
I really like this author and have read all of his books. however my very disappointed by surface treatment of nutrition and lack of innovation in this book. there's literally no novelty in any of these 64 laws and these are common sense. I don't think the author did any research for this book. seems like you put it together just to make a buck.

Excellent listen
I simply love this book. I’ve been cooking all my life and I am of Greek descent. I find many of the rules I just kind of grew up with without really thinking of them as rules. It was just the way that I was brought up. My take is if you follow these rules you’ll live a long happy life and not stress so much over what we eat.

Good easy listen
I liked most all. Only changes I would make are that I wouldn’t limit protein so much and I don’t think eating grass fed beef is important. These are trivial comments though and I think if someone were to adhere to all the rules they would be health as an Ox.

This was my second Michael Pollan book in succession and he has smashed it out the park yet again.
