I liked it

Short and sweet and wow the music. I did get frustrated at one point when I thoight the characters were listening to too many people, however i quickly got over that when they started to listen to each other. A good listen.

Captivating performance

I had no idea what to expect when I began listening to this story. From the very beginning, I was enthralled. The author got into the minds of musicians and the pressure we put on ourselves. Interestingly a teacher tough on the outside, has moments of vulnerability. The story is beautifully crafted and the music is divine.

Love full cast stories

I love stories with full cast. This one was surprisingly good and full taking into consideration how short it was. It actually managed to not be predictable and was very interesting and sweet. Recommended!!

Quick novella. Realistic. I like the story.

The performance is great. it sounds like audio description of Netflix. Even the sound of cat is funny. Team Max and Sadie. Quick novella. Realistic. I like the story. Great dilemma. Something everyone should take a page from whether you play piano or not. I just felt like it ended abruptly.

Wonderful

As a musician who has played in many competitions, I loved riding along with these two through the trials and tribulations of competing to their final HEA. The performances of the narrators was terrific and the addition of the music and sounds was too. A super enjoyable listen that I recommend to you all.

Utterly Ridiculous

Unbelievably hokey. This is a multi cast production with no narration. It has intermittent piano selections. I found it hard to take this seriously, it was so ridiculous. The storyline was contrived and the constant miscommunications were annoying. The ending was ridiculous as well. If you win a competition, you are contractually bound to that agreement unless you step down. Just thrown together to be a feel good romance. Ugh!

A Hallmark Movie W/ terrible Acting and Script

For Love Or Music by Julie Lipson 1 hour and 42 minutes performed by Piper Goodeve, Kris Koscheski, Hollis McCarthy, Abby Craden, Natasha Soudek, Jozef Szabo, Sarah Beth Pfifer, A. T. Chandler, Vikas Adam, and Sam Been and a Full Cast

Genre: Contemporary, Romance, Audiobook

Featuring: Seattle, Austin, Pianists, Drama, Audible Originals

Rating as a movie: PG-13 for innuendo

My rating: ⭐⭐

My thoughts: 18% - I already don't like Max.
69% - Meh

I thought the production was great. It felt like I was watching a real movie compared to previous encounters where it was like watching a movie on a television without a picture. The problem was is was a Hallmark movie with terrible acting and a mediocre script. I think 50% of the story was music and sound affects. I didn't like Max so I didn't care what happened to him. I don't know how you get Sadie from Cassandra, that was a first, but she wasn't great either. The ending was very predictable, but it's a given when you throw in romance.

Recommend to others?: Maybe. I wasn't impressed, but I could see some romantics enjoying the variety.
