Publisher's Summary

From the international best-selling author of The Simple Wild comes Forever Wild, a novella that continues the story of Calla's journey to the Alaskan wild and a life she never imagined for herself.

The holiday season is upon Calla and Jonah, and with the mistletoe and gingerbread comes plenty of family drama. Jonah is bracing himself for two weeks with a stepfather he loathes, and while Calla is looking forward to her mother and Simon's arrival, she dreads the continued pressure to set a date for their wedding...in Toronto. Add in one bullheaded neighbor's unintentional meddling and another cantankerous neighbor's own family strife, and Christmas in Trapper's Crossing will be anything but simple.

Language

Lots of swearing and took Jesus’ name in vain. As a Christian, I had to stop listening. Love clean and wholesome stories; this isn’t one of those.

Planning a wedding

It’s a story about giving family another try by making amends. Calla and Jonah celebrate Christmas with the in-laws in Alaska. It’s been four years since Jonah has seen his mother. It’s been one year since Calla’s seen her mother. Roy’s long lost daughter joins in the fun.
Jonah and Calla are torn on where to have the wedding when guests are spread out between Toronto and Norway.
KA Tucker is a bestselling author of The Simple Wild series. This is book 2.5 in a 4 book series. Forever Wild is a novella that continues Calla and Jonah’s romance. This reads more like an extended epilogue.
I wasn’t bouncing with excitement over this novella. Not much about this content interested me. I didn’t feel a connection and it had nothing to do with having no familiarity to these characters. The writing style didn’t draw me in.

Narrator:
Rebekkah Ross is the solo narrator performing all the characters in Forever Wild. I listened at 1.9x speed using the audible app. Rebekkah Ross is an actor, singer, writer, producer, and Earphones Award–winning narrator.
Im grateful for her audiobook voice acting skills. If it wasn’t for Rebekkah I would’ve skim read Forever Wild. Rebekkah exceeded my expectations for a rather dull read.

Addicted

I am completely addicted to this storyline. Fingers crossed other characters will get their own story … Toby, Delilah … I’m eagerly awaiting the release of Marie’s tale. I love the setting, love the character development, and I love the relationships. This series has been on repeat for the last year for me.

Very cute. Quick story

Honestly I downloaded this exclusively because I share the main characters name (I have only met 2 others). I was not disappointed with the tale! The narrator does an excellent job at telling the tale and the author did a wonderful job at writing a very cute adventurous story that makes me want to visit Alaska even more!

Highly recommend

This book feels like closure to the story but I’m desperate for more. This is the first book I’ve read in years that I’ve sincerely loved and not been able to put down. If there’s any chance K A Tucker is reading this, please continue the story. These characters are dear to my heart.

Should have been titled “Forever Fluffy”

Although the details of being with a bush pilot, tales of the weather challenges and logistics for planning anything were legitimate, the story was simply nauseating. If you like stories about planning weddings and decorating and family/community drama and sorority girls who hook up with the grizzly bad boy, this story is for you.

Perfect Ending

Loves this short but sweet final novel about Calla and Jonah and their life in Alaska.
