Unfortunately, during the intervening years, she has failed to find any suitable suitor who measures up to her mark, and she is resigned to ending her days an old maid. Publisher's Summary
Max Rotherbridge couldn't believe it. Along with the dukedom of Twyford, he - London's most notorious rogue - had inherited wardship of four devilishly attractive sisters! Including the irresistible Caroline Twinning. The eldest Twinning was everything he had ever wanted in a woman, but even Max couldn't seduce his own ward...or could he? After all, he did have a substantial reputation to protect. And what better challenge than the one woman capable of stealing his heart?

Good listen
A cute book that was easy to listen to. I loved the narrator her voice was uniquely nice and she didn't use that weird whisper type voice that so many of the the romance narrators use. The narrator definitely gets a thumbs up from me.

Completely uninteresting
I know it’s a shocker but in this romance the 4 heros all end up with their heroines. Ok since I am not giving that part away I need to tell you that all 4 sisters elope and all have sex before that and it all happens on the same afternoon while their chaperone is God knows where. Trust me I am not giving anything away except trying to save you from hours of torture. 4 men meet 4 amazing women who were absolutely gorgeous on top of it all and the nerve of them to want marriage before they gave it away to rakes. None of the heros wanted to get leg shackled and 2 wanted to make 2 of the gently raised women into their mistresses when the ladies were the toast of the Ton. Stupid storyline does not say enough to do this ridiculous storyline justice.

Nice easy read
What did you love best about Four in Hand?
I liked that it was a nice lovely story without all the endless explicit sex that Laurens usually has that gets old and boring after awhile.
Have you listened to any of Ashford MacNab’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Ashford MacNab is one of my favorite narrators.
Any additional comments?
Sometimes I want a light and entertaining story that is not so intense, and that I can sit back and listen and enjoy, and this fit the bill.

Hmmm
Probably won’t finish this one. It seemed somewhat predatory. I agree with a couple of previous reviewers that this is odd, with rakes having immediate nefarious intentions toward the young women. Additionally, it was weird to be inundated with that right away, so it dominated the story. As an early example, the main hero talks creepy sexual innuendo during a dance to one of his wards he only recently met. (Sure, he knows she’s not his ward, but she doesn’t know that yet, and it’s still creepy.) It had a unique premise, which is why I was initially interested.

I loved this story, a bad boy rouge who believe he is untouchable when it comes to marriage and all his bad boy friends little do they know those days are coming to a end.

Four virgins stalked
I found this plot very offensive. Although these ended in marriage, the men were the most reprehensible rakes, stalking four virgins relentlessly. Two were even coerced to sex before being told marriage was possible.
Not at all romantic.
