Publisher's Summary

Monster girls, divine magic, and a frontier of dungeons to tame.

William Adams hoped to escape his dead-end life by reconnecting with estranged friends. They died when a floating cuboid interrupted the gaming night and vaporized everyone. Waking with powers reminiscent of his paladin character, William finds himself alone in a fantasy frontier of dungeoneers, desperadoes, and damsels of the monster girl varieties.

Set on reuniting with his friends, William accepts the duties of a Frontier Ranger. Unfortunately, the job is a ticket to a lifetime of trouble.

Local ruffians, a laser golem-infested dungeon, and enemies from the deep seas force the former mall cop to stretch his magic of divine blessings to its limits. Thankfully, William has a nerdy faun archeologist and a psychic aboleth princess by his side. Together they explore the hidden mysteries of the Cursed Frontier.

Ruinland Ranger contains explicit engagements between a monster girl harem and the main character.

Oh dear

Couldn't make myself finish this one. Nothing works for this book. Characters are paper thin. The world is confusing. The dialogue is clunky and simple. It's a real shame because the narrators try really hard to make it work.
There are better harem fantasy books out there. I recommend you give this one a pass.

FUCKING TRUCK-KUN 🤣 I'M DEAD!💀

I'm sorry I didn't actually finish the book or even start chapter 2 yet. I just had to mention THE FUCKER ACTUALLY SAID "TRUCK-COON" I can't breathe (it's so beautiful) hahahaha (ik it's not that funny, but it caught me off guard) 💀

I actually got this on kindle first and ended up returning it because i really didnt like Wills character in the first chapter but glad i gave it a chance on audible. Gets really good pretty quickly and the narrators do a great job.

Good start

Good start to a series. I really enjoyed the story and cannot wait for more. The start was a little rocky for me but once the book gets going I really enjoyed it.

The dumbest character

This is the dumbest, stupidest character. “I had no choice” “i forgot” “my bad” over and over again. If this character dies i really dont care anymore.

abusive characters galore

if you like a loser MC who you'd rather would just die and a bunch of abusive supporting characters who need to go die in a fire than this book is for you, otherwise save your braincells and listen to something else.

Good start!

The story is good, the main character can be a bit of a naive fool but overall it's entertaining.
