Does the work you do matter to you? Are you unsure what you want to do for a living? Are you in the right place but looking to advance? No matter where you are in your career, you were born to do work you love.

  4. Get Started by overcoming the emotions and mistakes that often hold people back.
  5. Get Promoted by developing winning habits and traits.
  6. Get Your Dream Job by doing work you love and accomplishing results that matter to you.
  7. Give Yourself Away by expanding the dream to leave a legacy.

Waste of time

the title was a bit misleading considering this book tall about how to be an employee, maybe it was my fault thinking that "purpse" means something else than being an employee. So from "paycheck to purpose" should be titled "from paycheck to a better paycheck". No nuggest for me in this book but good advertising for Mr. Dave Ramsey

For employees, not entrepreneurs.

I really thought this book would speak to discovering ways in our existing work to find more purpose in giving of ourselves to the people we serve. Instead, the book concentrates on people who are dissatisfied with their current work and looking to make a complete change in what they do in order to find purpose. It's about acquiring your dream job, not finding more purpose in what you do already, and certainly not self-employment or small business ownership.

Great attitude toward work life!

I wish I had heard this philosophy towards work in my early 20's. As a business owner in my 50's, I look back and see that Ken's words are spot on not only for myself but for the many employees that have come and gone over the years. Good Job, Ken.

From Paycheck To Purpose

I've been wanting to listen to this book for awhile! Finally did. it was alright I guess. I am currently at my dream job and it feels so good! I think Ken Coleman knows what he's talking about when it comes to finding and doing work that you are passionate about and that makes a difference!! I would say if you can get this book during the $10 sale @ ramseysolutions.com go ahead and get it and read it (or listen to it) They have them sales every so often! It's probably worth 10 bucks! Especially if you don't like your current job and are considering a career change.

Great stuff

It’s wasn’t earth-shattering, but it was undoubtedly worth the read. Ken offered loads of helpful advice, useful tips, and valuable perspective on important topics related to career, mission, and purpose. I don’t regret the purchase.
