Story
Charlotte Graham is at the center of the most famous kidnapping in Chicago history. The FBI and local cops found her two abductors, killed them, and rescued her, but it took four long years. The fact that she was found just three miles from her home, had been there the entire time, haunts them. She’s since changed her identity, found a profession she loves, and rebuilt her life. She’s never said a word — to the cops, to her doctors, to her family — about those four years.

Story
Commander Mark Bishop is deliberately low-key: "I'm in the Navy." But commanding the ballistic missile submarine USS Nevada, keeping her crew trained and alert during 90-day submerged patrols, and being prepared to launch weapons on valid presidential orders, carries a burden of command like few other jobs in the military. Mark wants someone to come home to after sea patrols. The woman he has in mind is young, with a lovely smile, and very smart. She's a civilian, yet she understands the U.S. Navy culture.

Publisher's Summary
Ann Silver is a cop’s cop. As the Midwest Homicide Investigator, she is called in to help local law enforcement on the worst of cases, looking for answers to murder. Hers is one of the region’s most trusted investigative positions. Paul Falcon is the FBI’s top murder cop in the Midwest. If the victim carried a federal badge or had a security clearance, odds are good Paul and his team see the case file or work the murder.
Their lives intersect when Ann arrives to pass a case off her desk and onto his. A car wreck and a suspicious death offer a lead on a hired shooter he is tracking. Paul isn’t expecting to meet someone, the kind that goes on the personal side of the ledger, but Ann Silver has his attention.
The better he gets to know her, the more Paul realizes her job barely scratches the surface of who she is. She knows spies and soldiers and U.S. Marshals, and has written books about them. She is friends with the former vice president. People with good reason to be cautious about who they let into their lives deeply trust her. Paul wonders just what secrets Ann is keeping, until she shows him the John Doe Killer case file, and he starts to realize just who this lady he is falling in love with really is....

Dissapointed
This was my first Dee Henderson book and i guess I expected more from all the hype about her books. I felt the pace was sluggish, far too complcated and I found the character of Ann Silver more strange than sympathetic. I wanted to like her but found her tedious instead. Even the story line seemed to plod along rather than move smoothly. Because this author has many good reviews for previous books I will probably give her another shot, but will approach with caution.

Disappointed - Had Great Potential but Falls Flat
I have read all of Dee Henderson's books and for the most part, they are all wonderful. Dee hasn't written any books in a while so when this book came out, I immediately purchased it. I really wanted this to be a good book but instead of a good story, what I got was a great disappointment. One, Dee spent a great deal of time talking about her other books which I found to be very tacky and boring. In fact, it was so bad I wanted to fast forward through these parts which would of meant that I would of had to fast forward through a lot of the book. Two, there were way too many stories going on at one time. The first hour or two was great then for the next 9-10 hours it was torture. The final hour was good. In my opinion, the main characters voice was horrible. At times it was simply unbearable. I guess I expected more from Dee after the O'Malley series. I'm sorry Dee, but I simply cannot recommend this book to others.

loved the story...but the reader needed help
If you could sum up Full Disclosure in three words, what would they be?
O'Malleys...melancholy...twisting...
Who was your favorite character and why?
Ann was my favorite character because i felt so akin to her. She is introverted and you love her for it...I have never read a character I understood more. I know she won't be for everyone, but I adored and understood her.
Which scene was your favorite?
I think just one of the video link scenes...they were so ordinary, yet special.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
Two woman. One a killer and the other with powerful friends. Both in touch with one man.
Any additional comments?
Being a fan of Dee Henderson and the O'Malley series as well as the other books, it was fun to touch on each one. The only problem was the reader paid no attention to a few of the voices. All of a sudden Dave was a brash American, rather than a suave Brit...very annoying but the story made up for the grudge.

Uplifting Story
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
This is a book about faith and trust and I guess that because it is a Christian book I would be reluctant to recommend it to those who would not hear the message it carries.
What did you like best about this story?
I enjoyed the many twists and turns in the story - it kept me interested and wanting to hear more. I guess the bit I liked most about this story was listening to Paul Falcon talk about his faith and his family.
Which scene was your favorite?
When Paul and Ann married.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I didn't listen to it in one sitting but it was my constant companion for two days.
Any additional comments?
I hadn't read or listened to any of Dee Hendersons books before and have now become an avid fan. Listening to this book had me intrigued about the O'Malley's and so I have now started reading that series. Unfortunately only book 6 is available as an audiobook.

Passionless
I haven't written a review in a while, but I just had to do one for this book. First off let me say the narrator was very good when it came to doing the voices. They were very distinct and his female voices were very good.
However, this story lacked passion. The story has a Christian bent, however are you telling me that Christians don't have any passion in their lives? The story line was interesting however, again it could have been ramped up some with more intensity with her word choice in telling the story. As far as the romance between the main characters were concerned, it was very apathetic. I can't believe someone sees someone starts asking questions about their background, likes what they hear and decides this is the one for me. HUH? No....heart beating fast when you are with this person? No....desire to kiss her senseless, no body reaction to being close her......is this the way Christians are around their so called love interest? Look we all have those giddy feelings when we think we have found the one, the body responses, the desire to touch, kiss the one that makes your heart beat alarmingly when they are around, to deny these feelings exist isn't being human, it doesn't mean you have to act on them. Acting on them after marriage is the Christian way. This story didn't do it for me, I like stories that writers imbue with more intensity and passion.

Snore
What would have made Full Disclosure better?
A faster plot with more realistic characters
Has Full Disclosure turned you off from other books in this genre?
Maybe. I've never read anything by Dee Henderson, and I'm a bit afraid to try again.
What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?
He had a relaxing voice. I didn't care so much for his feminine voices.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Frustration.
Any additional comments?
I've never skipped ahead in an audiobook before, but I finally had to skip to the end, just to see if they ever would get together, and then it was so unrealistic. Yeah, right - a guy would marry someone who wants to be apart from them all of the time. What's the point in getting married?

This is a Christian Mystery
What did you like best about Full Disclosure? What did you like least?
great use of deductive reasoning and good fast dialogue. This is listed under romance and is not what most core romance readers/listeners seek. This is a good example of good christian faith woven into a mystery/ FBI story.
What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)
I have not finished the book as write, but I hope to finish this book. The dialogue is that good for the mystry portion . I have hit the heavy faith portion author has woven into the story, and with all due respect, I feel the dialogue should be in the Christian or family listings. Tastfully done, but not appropriate or stated in the publishers synopsis.
What about David de Vries’s performance did you like?
I liked his reading style. Fast pace which made up for any other criticisms I may have of the editing. This should have been posted under Christian genre.
Do you think Full Disclosure needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
this author is a very talented writer, but her books are in the wrong section and not for me.
Any additional comments?
This was part of BOGO sale and I did not read the reviews before selecting. Both choices seem a bit on the outside of my usual buys. Overall I can't say I was pleased with the selections! I know audible wants its listeners to expand their reading scope, but if I wanted a Christian listen, I would have gone to that section. Audible please take note.

Painfully tedious
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
I never give up on a book; ever, but this book left me resenting the life energy I wasted on getting through it. Anyone with the capacity to know extraordinary writing from good writing from mediocre writing from downright bad writing shouldn't waste their money or credits on this one. From its unbelievable and unrealistic characters and their implausible situations to its rote Christianity devoid of any spirituality, this book is painfully tedious in every way.

Enjoyable but not her best work
Henderson has never been able to repeat the magic of the O'Malley series (particularly the first few books in that series which I thought were particularly excellent), but I enjoyed this story more than some of her other books. However, it really bothered me that she made out that the main character, Ann Silver, wrote the O'Malley series. For me, it heavily detracted from the "suspension of disbelief" necessary to enjoy the story- it took something away from the fictional world of the characters as well as adding a weird vibe that she was trying to give herself a more interesting past. That said, I enjoyed the book on the whole and thought the narrator did an excellent job.

Frustrating
The crime writing in this book is really good and the story had me in suspense. The frustrating parts were the overlong diversions into slushy romance and theological discourse. I'm certainly not against romance but it completely interfered with and took the pace away from the crime element of the book which spoilt it for me. With an audio book you can't easily skim through pages! I won't be buying any more of Dee Henderson's titles if this book is anything to go by. Crime 9/10, but spoiled by mistaken idea of weaving it with a romantic novel.

Story should get a 10 outta 5 rating! BEST yet!
I've been a Dee Henderson fan since her Prequel to the Omalley Series. BUT 'Full Disclosure' goes above and beyond ALL expectations! MASTERPIECE! Leaving me wanting for MORE and to even revisit the earlier 'Stories', reminiscing on the lives and 'friends' she introduced us to...and now eludes to in this EPIC Masterpiece, a tapestry of lives you are familiar with, woven together in such a heart felt way that you feel you are in the midst of the CORE FAMILY gathering, catching up with loved ones.
