Publisher's Summary

In the sixth installment of Coreene Callahan's bestselling Dragonfury series, a tormented dragon shifter finds solace in the healing powers of a woman - one who needs her own salvation.

Dragon warrior Forge has been sentenced to death by the Dragonkind elite. Recalling the memories of his family's murders could drive him to the edge of insanity, but it's the only way to remove the target on his back. Fiercely determined to protect his pack and his newborn son, Forge agrees to undergo harrowing treatments to help him remember the trauma buried deep inside his heart and mind. When nothing works, a woman of unprecedented power is brought in to help.

Young, bright, and haunted by her own demons, hypnotherapist Hope Cunningham helps patients recover from their darkest memories. But each time she liberates a wayward soul, Hope's personal pain digs deeper - until one patient ignites an unforgettable passion.

Forge's healing journey is not without risk. Unwittingly, he has put Hope in the middle of a dangerous war, one that could shatter their eternal bond. Will the curative power of love be enough to save them?

Terrible book but great narration..

Book 6 is the worst one. I kid you not..

OK, I’ve read the DragonFury series and mostly I loved them but waiting well over 2 years for the 6th book I had forgotten that Coreene Callahan loves to write such nonsense, such stupid filler, to make the book longer. Things like: Hope looked through the peephole. She gripped the door handle. She unlocked the door. She TURNED the door handle. She opened the door. OMG! Who the heck cares? And then someone says one little thing, like “hello,” and then you have to read the author’s silly narration page after page after page, telling you what is a boring story without anyone saying anything, waiting for someone to say something else so you can get interested in the story again. If you like dialogue in your books forget about this author. The only reason I decided to read this is because I read the rest of the series. AND I do want to know how it turns out in the end since I really liked all the dragons and their mates, but there was be a lot of skimming.

This just went on and on with stupid stuff, like Ivar and Hamersveld sitting in a hot tub on the side of a mountain to watch Ivar’s dragons practice battles, pages and pages of it. Of Hope beating the hell out of a leather heavy bag, on 2 different occasions, once in her garage and once at Black Diamond. Again pages and pages of it. Pages and pages of Forge and Hope’s angst over wanting each other. This is supposed to be the last book in the series so I thought it would be a lot more exciting. The most exciting part was at 80% when Forge and the other dragons went out to capture Hamersveld. Except they didn’t get him, after a long drawn out battle, and then Forge simply said he had to get back to the library at Black Diamond because he read something that might help Mac, who was lying in a coma. What? Oh, wait, before we go to the library let’s take a while to have sex with Hope, then mind-meld with her, then show off his dragon to her, and then take a shower.

And Ivar, the bad guy/evil dude in every one of the DragonFury books, spent all of his time trying to come up with a cure for the deadly virus HE made that was now killing human female girls, teens and grown women in record numbers.

Jeez! Amazon says this is book 9 of 9 so I thought this was the last book. Nope, it’s not. The end of this left it wide open for another one. Yay! Another 2+ years to wait?

There was sex in this book but the story was so boring I skipped it. The F-bomb was used 120 times.

As to the narration: P. J. Ochlan did a great job with the narrating but even he couldn’t help the nonsense he was reading.

Another Dragonfury hit!!!

Coreene has done it again. Fury of Surrender is an amazing chapter in the Dragonfury series. This time we get to learn about Forge, our favorites Scottiash Nightfury and ooooooooo boy does he not disappoint. Your heary aches for the struggles he is working through and you can't help but root for him.

The fenale lead, Hope, is wonderful and next to Angela and JJ, she's become one of my favorites. Her spine is wonderful and you're cheering for her the whole time. You can't help but get wrapped up in her background as well too.

And a side note.... There is a lot of emotion and feelings wrapped around Ivar and once again Coreene has me wanting and cheering for him more and more.

The book, as all her previous ones do, sucks you in and has you getting lost in the story and wishing that you were in Seattle and could find a dragon of your own.

My only reason for giving 4 stars on this is because the narrator this time isn't Benjamin Darcie, who I've come to connect with the boys through. The new narartor is good but all the females sound pretty much the same but his Scottish brogue for Forge is really awesome!

Another great book in the Dragonfury series. I just love this series and i think this is the best one yet. Of course, i say that each time i read one. But i just love Forge and always have. P J Ochlan did a great job narrating. I love Forge's accent. This book was worth the wait and i look forward to the next.

Scottish Brogue

Yummy good job, aye. Loove it. P.J. did a fantastic job of bouncing with every dragons accents but Forges Scottish was my favorite. Occasionally it sounds like Ivar but I still enjoyed the story. Man talk about a whirlwind romance that was like 36 hrs. You'd think that the girls would be more helpful with a new girls feelings an let her know its ok but man they made her sweat. Well till after she learned somethings but still, I'd be feeling like a hussy if I was Hope. Pls get P.J. to do more. 😙

Each book is better than the one before!

This is a series that captures you with fully dimensional characters that are well-narrated. With each addition to the series, Ms Callahan hones her craft, revealing a little more of the dragon-kind world and its human world interface.

The romance is for mature audiences, and enhances the story. I began the series for light entertainment, I continue the series, usually on release day, to find out what happens next.

Awesome story

I like the way this one started it almost seems like we are in the last book at the end so we know where we are when we read th I s one. Awesome job narrating the story too. Forge is so bad ass in this one and it also shows the softer side of him and the rest of the pack.

Ok

I enjoyed these stories but won’t be getting anymore. They are too long winded, you don’t need a chapter to describe feelings, just a couple of lines would do.

****Holy Scott****

fury of surrender is just as good as the rest of the Dragon fury series, what tip this as my favourite so far is the sexy scottish accent of Forge omg P.J.Ochlan you are amazing thank you for the very realistic accents, five stars for that alone. this particular story touched something inside of me, Hope's guilt and anguished about her brother and Forge shadowed past and his inability to remember what happened to his family. and i admire gow Coreene writes not just about our hero and heroine but the whole cast and managed to weave in one seamless story. and wow on Mac for getting gis wren, omg i was worried then. i can"t wait to read Sloan's story, pls let gim be next? thanks.
