Publisher's Summary

Recognize this type of narcissistic abuse and break free from mind control.

A gaslighter is someone who can subtly turn your life into a nightmare and then blame you for it. How?

Gaslighting is a form of emotional abuse that makes the victim question their sanity and self-worth.

Here are some typical things a gaslighter would say:

  • “You’re just overreacting and making things up!”
  • “I never said that. Go see a doctor about your memory.”
  • “Why do you keep bringing this up? It’s just a joke. Why are you offended?”

If you hear such phrases often, you’re being gaslit.

Gaslighters make you question your perception of reality and your feelings. They insist that things didn’t happen while you remember they did. They make you feel weak, confused, and stupid. They lash out and blame you when you confront them about their behavior. And they slowly undermine your self-worth and self-confidence until you become their obedient victim.

Gaslighting can happen in any toxic relationship, be it a romantic couple or a parent-child relationship (it’s a favorite technique of narcissistic mothers).

This audiobook will teach you everything you need to know about gaslighting if you want to break free from abusive mind control.

Here’s what you’ll learn:

Okay

It had helpful pieces, but I could of done without the political point of view. I feel that type of topic needs more depth than what was delivered.

modified therapy journal

These days with a self-publishing option, anyone can write a book.
Not sure about the doctoral credentials of the author. Considering the language structure and terminology looks like the author of this book is a very young and not very schooled individual who is still dealing with the trauma of narcissistic relationships. The book is not so bad - it is just naive with some heart hearted advice that the author was exposed to during the consulting session. There is a touch of political zealousness ( typical for a young person). The book reads more like parts of written therapy assignments that have been stitched together to pretend it is a book written by a professional. It is not wrong, but genuinely naive and without any distance to the topic (typical for the practicing professionals) with significant gaps in the approach.

disappointed with authors personal view

as a healthcare giver myself i was looking for more clinical info.
i was really turned of by the political bias....i didn't ,find a need. I felt the book reflected to much from a personal viewpoint.
