Gaslighting victims find that they usually become anxious first. They wake up with a ball in the pit of their stomach. They are always waiting for the other shoe to drop where the gaslighter is concerned. They always have to cope with his malevolent and vicious behavior. They are forced to deal with his negative and disagreeable temperament. They are on edge wondering which thing he said is a lie and which thing he said is the truth.

A person suffers from anxiousness for a while. He or she is never sure whether the gaslighter is going to stay in the relationship or whether they are going to leave. The relationship with an extreme personality individual is very volatile. The person is always bored and looking for more stimulation outside the relationship. The person cannot just be happy where they are at.

The gaslighter never allows anything to be stable for very long. Stability feels uncomfortable for the gaslighter. He is letting his life go by without him. He is watching all the thrillers on television, and he wants to be in on the action like those guys. He thinks his life should look like a fantasy.

Meanwhile, the gaslighter gives the other person in the relationship a serious case of Complex PTSD. He traumatizes her to the point that she might never...
