Publisher's Summary
"My name is Harriet Manners, and I am a geek."
Harriet Manners knows that a cat has 32 muscles in each ear, a "jiffy" lasts 1/100th of a second, and the average person laughs 15 times per day. She knows that bats always turn left when exiting a cave and that peanuts are one of the ingredients of dynamite. But she doesn't know why nobody at school seems to like her.
So when Harriet is spotted by a top model agent, she grabs the chance to reinvent herself. Even if it means stealing her best friend's dream, incurring the wrath of her arch enemy Alexa, and repeatedly humiliating herself in front of impossibly handsome model Nick. Even if it means lying to the people she loves.
Veering from one couture disaster to the next with the help of her overly enthusiastic father and her uber-geeky stalker, Toby, Harriet begins to realise that the world of fashion doesn't seem to like her any more than the real world did.
As her old life starts to fall apart, will Harriet be able to transform herself before she ruins everything?

That was really good. I liked the way she changed all the voices. Wilbur's was my favourite. Best I've heard! (and also only one.)

Great listen!
I was given this audiobook as a gift and I was a bit sceptical about it. Didn't know if it would be too childish, but it was a great present! I love it and have bought the whole series.
I am 17 so I didn't know if it would be to young for me, but they are very well written and the plot is always funny and based on things that could happen to any teenager and a great pick you up. Always a good laugh, all the characters you can relate to in a way (the nutty dad, the boy you wish was yours, the best friend, the bully who hates you for no reason...).
My brother who is10 also loves them I recommend it to anyone from that age up (maybe not for teenage boys though - although saying that it did make my parents chuckle when they listened to them in the car with me!!).
Christmas is near, so I would definitely recommend it as a gift to a loved one to receive on Xmas 2015.
