English Translations Ruin This Audio

I was dismayed to hear English translations after every paragraph, but I see now that the Amazon offer mentions this at the end of description. They need to put that right at the top, since this is an unusual way to handle stories for beginners. It certainly ruined the audio for me and I have removed it from my audio library.

Great entertaining stories

Fun and interesting stories for upper entry level with regular speed.
Downside is that at the end you get to relisten the english stories with no useful goal.

Transcript not always accurate

Spoken at natural speed, and it’s very helpful for beginner learners to have the transcription (and translation) available to read at the same time, as this helps so much to hone one’s listening skills in learning to associate the sounds with the written form. Only small complaint is that the transcript doesn’t always match what the speaker is saying, as in each story he changes an occasional word or even an entire phrase from what is written, which could be a bit confusing particularly for early beginners (I only listened to the German-only portion). Each story is translated paragraph by paragraph, so it’s easy to check your overall understanding and as there are lots of ways to use this title it has earned a place among my learning resources.

The transcript does not always match the audio

The transcript does not always match the audio.
In many parts there are different phrasing, which is kind of frustrating for me.

This is why I give only 4 start.

Apart from that, this is a good material for beginners to improve vocabulary and comprehension.

the german speaker goes a bit quick i think, you don't get time to catch all the pronunciation
