New hope for those suffering from conditions like depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, addictions, PTSD, ADHD, and more. Though incidence of these conditions is skyrocketing, for the past four decades standard treatment hasn’t much changed, and success rates in treating them have barely improved, either. Meanwhile, the stigma of the “mental illness” label - damaging and devastating on its own - can often prevent sufferers from getting the help they need. Story
Relentless fear, chest pain, heart palpitations, and shortness of breath, among other things, are signs you’re having an anxiety or panic attack. Both may feel similar; this is because they share a lot of emotional and physical symptoms. However, an anxiety attack is a different condition from a panic attack. Anxiety can build gradually and is usually linked to an event, situation, or experience that’s perceived as threatening or stressful. Panic attacks, however, often occur out of the blue, and aren’t always cued by stressors.

Publisher's Summary
Stop letting anxiety run your life.
If you're like one of the millions of Americans who suffer from anxiety and panic attacks every year, you probably spend too much time in your own head. Though our minds are great places to solve complex problems, they're borderline destructive when it comes to handling fear and anxiety.
The reason for this is simple: as perplexing and terrifying as it may be, fear is but a feeling, and you cannot "solve" feelings. All you can do is choose to focus on them or let them be.
Unfortunately, so many of us opt for the former route, overanalyzing fear endlessly, helplessly plunging ourselves into further spirals of darkness and anxiety. Not only is this no way to live, but it's also no way to approach fear, for until we break out of such apprehensive thinking, it will only continue to drag us down further and further.
Thus, in order to alleviate anxiety, we must break free from these fear cycles. But how?
That's exactly what you'll discover in this audiobook. As you listen to this relatable self-help title, you'll learn:
- What anxiety is and where it comes from
- Why we keep perpetuating our anxiety, even when we know it doesn't serve us
- Ten helpful tactics for mitigating acute episodes of panic and anxiety
- How to develop an overall lifestyle of calm and inner peace
Ready to get started? Then grab your copy today and start making those fear cycles a thing of the past.
PLEASE NOTE: When you purchase this title, the accompanying PDF will be available in your Audible Library along with the audio.

Personal and Informative
In this audiobook, Brian shared some personal stories about how anxiety impacted his life, especially in dating. The story was quite entertaining to listen to because I’m sure many people who are dealing with anxiety could probably relate to. He gave a very informative step-by-step guide to how he handle his own anxiety. It was enjoyable to listen to. There was a few volume and pitch changes in certain part of the audio otherwise I would have rated a performance at 5. Overall, I really enjoy the book!

Great book on overcoming anxiety
This book was from the point of view of the author who has struggled with and successfully developed tools to overcome anxiety. It does not portray theory or research alone, but it is rather a personally developed, tried and tested approach to overcoming anxiety. It has 10, very useful and applicable steps that he not only outlines but that he also gives deep insights into application. Definitely worth your time if you struggle with anxiety.

Handling fear and anxiety
I enjoyed this audiobook. It is very interesting how it breaks managing anxiety into an understandable, step-by-step-process.
The author described situations useful for understanding that other persons have experienced unpleasant feelings and, with good advice, it is possible to feel better.
I also found very helpful the "ten steps to getting out of your head."

Insightful and the Strategies were very helpful!
I’ll start this out by saying I have struggled with anxiety and depression, still sometimes do to this day. The strategies and ways to deal with and hopefully overcome those things I found were very helpful. The situations are very relatable and some I have found myself in, so it was kind of a relief to know I’m not the only one that can feel like this. I thought the narration was very good kept me engaged because I tend to sometimes space out. All in all I would 100% recommended this book to anyone especially if you’re struggling I think it could definitely help. Thank you Brian!

What a great audiobook for 2020 and beyond!
We are currently living in very uncertain times. 24 news media preaching doom and gloom, we've also become very disconnect from ourselves and even our loved ones in some instances. The current health emergency, political situations, social uncertainty all lead to anxiety in my opinion. This audiobook certainly goes a long way to overcome today's issues. There are many hints and tips which will certainly help with negative feelings, anxious moments, and dark thoughts. The author's own stories are immensely comforting, knowing that others have gone through these same experiences. Very interesting and thought-provoking.

Never fixate on the outcome
This book is great for anyone dealing with high anxiety, I wish I had this book when I was younger when my fight with the monkey mind was much more intense.
Brian talks about lots of things that brought up memories from when I was younger and struggling with stress, but back then I didn't have the necessary guidance. This will help many people deal with life a lot easier if they just take the advice. Recommended.

Anyone who struggles with anxiety should read this
With covid this past year and everyday life struggles, I think we've all had anxiety in one way or another. I appreciate that the author didn't suggest just taking another pill but rather gave some natural ways that can help relieve stress. I've tried his breathing practice many times and can say just taking deep breathes, that has helped me many times. The author goes through 10 steps and it's amazing how doing little things can make a big difference. Everyone should read this book.

Great for Anxiety! Highly Recommend!
As someone who has suffered from chronic panic attacks I can definitely identify with the author. The stories hit home immediately. I completely agree with the author that Beta blockers and anti-depressants are not the solution for long-term health.
The book contains great exercises for people dealing with anxiety. This book combined with a licensed Cognitive Behavioral therapist would be a great combination. Very well researched!

Great book on overcoming anxiety
We all know that anxiety is not good for us, and everyone wants to get rid of it, even if we want to keep perpetuating it. And that's where the main struggle is but this book has covered this topic in a very informative and comprehensive way. I like that the author was very thoughtful about the subject and put his research and information, keeping the people in his mind who is actually facing difficulty with anxiety. Also, there is a step-by-step guide to overcoming anxiety in this book and maintaining a whole lifestyle with mental peace and calmness. Overall great book on the subject, and I would definitely recommend this book to anyone.
