Your sparkle is within - let it out!

When I saw the cover of this Audible book, I thought great just another diet book. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that it is so much more. It is more of a diet lifestyle book. There are 10 chapters of educational and helpful information. This book will help you understand your healthy and unhealthy habits and how to implement lifestyle changes that will result in good health and weight loss. Added bonus, the narration by Fiona Marrello is also very pleasing to listen to.

Inspiration for change

I enjoyed this audiobook and the narration of it. There were a lot of great points that I think will help me overcome some of my issues with regard to food. It has always been a struggle, so I sought out a new resource for the issue and I am glad that I found this. The information has been laid out, now it's my turn to make the changes.

Needed to hear this!

Get Your Sparkle Back is packed with great information about losing and maintaining your optional weight. What’s more important is the addressing of not just weight loss but of health. Also a great discussion is on why you’re gaining weight. I listened to the author’s other book....Live Health on a Tight Schedule and both books do an excellent job of teaching simple and health weight loss strategies.

This book really teaches you how to change your bad habits, and since it’s really informative when it comes to all the nutrition stuff, including why we eat the way we do, this sure did light a fire under me to start taking better care of myself.

Psychology + Nutrition

This is a pretty unique book because, yes, it’s got all the great nutrition information, but also really important lessons on why you eat the way you do. It’s like the writer is crawling around in my head. Lol. But really, this book is extraordinary, and I can’t wait to get to work on what I’ve learned. Great narration too.

Very intresting ideas

I've always struggled with my weight my entire life. Throughout school years I'd turn to food for emotional support, and once in college, I'd try to start working out. I've never been one for going to the gym (too self-conscious) and would try to do workouts at home. I've tried almost every diet fad and nutrition plan under the sun. In this audiobook though, I learned a couple of interesting things not mentioned in any other book. Would recommend to people who are sick and tired of diets. Definitely very powerful long term!

A must-have for those who want to lose weight

Many people have difficulty controlling themselves when it comes to food: after a hard day at work, or when things in our relationship are not going well, negative emotions take over and make us eat more than we need to.

This audiobook helped me get a grip on the situation, making me understand the problem and presenting the right methods to solve it.

Functional guide to stop emotional eating

Bought this as I felt myself binge eating more during COVID, and it was the result of trying to compensate for other emotional issues I've been having. Get Your Sparkle Back breaks down not only how to overcome emotional eating, but the source of the habit in the first place, helping you remove the habit for good.

The narrator is easy to follow and enjoyable to listen to, and I found I was listening through in a day while feeling like I retained the content.

You need to know why you are getting fat

People assume that the reason they get fat is just because of overeating and not getting enough exercise. Silvana explains that it is more than that. She explains that it can also be a combination of other things like stress that can contribute to obesity. She explains the differences between good and bad carbohydrates and how to make sure that you are including them in your diet to make sure that you stay healthy.

Regain your lost SPARKLE!

My words aren't enough to say how important this book is to me. I feel that I found answers to all my health and weight-related problems through this guide. I was terribly missing the days I was in shape and been suffering not been able to overcome my habit of overeating. However, the ten steps are workable and effective and pushed me towards practicing workouts and choosing a healthy diet effortlessly. Diet by mindset

We often don't consider how much mindset affects us in everything we do. Try this fad diet, try that fad diet and they never work, why is it? This book explains very succinctly that if you think diet alone is going to help you without you putting the work in and actually changing how you think pretty much all diets are doomed to failure from the outset.
