Publisher's Summary

For Olivia Adams, the world has always been too big or too small.

Ollie has always felt confined and trapped. It was hard for her to imagine a future beyond the crushing control of those who wanted to make sure she paid the price for her role in a tragic accident that ruined several young lives. However, having no hope and living in a constant state of fear never stopped Ollie from dreaming of different ways to break free. Huck is the only one who ever made her feel like there was a place in his world, right by his side, that would fit her just right.

The world has always forced Huck Snyder to be a guy who runs either too hot or too cold.

Unwanted and barely tolerated, his temper burned hot and bright, often leading him into trouble. Huck quickly realized the only way he would make it was to freeze out every single memory and moment from his past. Especially those surrounding Ollie. He was in no way prepared for the only girl who could ever control his inner fire to show back up.

Fire and ice no longer define Huck because when he's with Ollie, it's easy to remember that the temperature between the two of them has always been just right.

Goldilocks

I started this book when it came out in paperback but I got about 5 chapters from the end and never finished it.

So when I saw the audiobook come out I had to grab it.
I don’t really have a lot to say, I enjoyed the story and I am glad it wasn’t predicable. I liked that I thought it was going to go one way and was pleasantly surprised it didn’t.
I wasn’t more of the roommate’s but from what Jay said on a post she doesn’t think she will write more in this series.
Great narration it was perfect for this book.

Short and sweet...but not too sweet...

This is a fast pace novel dealing with the removal of narcist out of a life. Something that anyone who has done this, should have a grounded person at the end. Jay Crownover has written another spell binding book...listen and enjoy...

An addictive entertaining read

Goldilocks was originally provided by the author as a free read in her newsletter, a couple of chapters at a time. Got to say. I thoroughly enjoyed the written word in the newsletter, but, I totally loved the audible version, not because of the edits and changes, but mainly because of Connor Brown, he was just fantastic narrating Huck. I definitely need to research more of his material. Ok, back to the story. Friends to enemies to lovers for Huck and Ollie, let’s not forget all the betrayal and obsession! Although Huck is still a college student, he’s taken it upon himself to save and protect all those he considers friends, and for the record that does not include Ollie. Ollie though, needs Huck’s protection (I’ll let you in to a secret - Ollie is stronger than she thinks). Lots of drama and added little twists make for a truly addictive entertaining audio.
