Publisher's Summary

Gabriel Romero made me hungry for things I'd never wanted, and starved of the things I didn't think I'd ever need. Until now.... Until him....

I was never the man who believed in love, romance, or happily ever afters. I was married to my work, and happy to be that way. Until one night, not too long ago, when an audacious young man lied his way into my life and showed me what I'd been missing.

Bold and sexy, with a face that could melt through the iciest of exteriors, Gabriel Romero is the one factor I never saw coming. There are so many reasons we shouldn't work - my age, his, our career goals in life - and yet we are drawn together by a passion for music, and each other, that neither of us can deny.

I've always been the one to think things through, to follow my head instead of my heart. But if I don't open myself to what's possible, instead of thinking of all the ways this seems impossible, I might miss out on the best thing that has ever happened to me.

So I'm taking a chance, and laying myself at his mercy, opening my heart with nothing but good intentions. Only time will tell if Gabriel Romero decides to let me back in.

Contains mature themes.

Gabe & Marcus are one of my favorite Ella couples!

I LOVE this duology! The narrators for both Gave and Marcus' voices are just perfect for them - so bold, lively, and sassy for Gabe, and sexy, controlled, in charge for Marcus. I loved it.

I really love this couple - definitely one of my favorite couples from Ella. I think because Gabe reminds me so much of Logan (and the cameos of Logan, Tate, Robbie, and the gang is just SO wonderful to see) and I loved the chemistry between the two of them.

One of my favs!

Love this story! I also love how characters from other series crossover into each other! I need to know where to read Logan’s and Coles stories!! I’ve read Xander and Sean’s story and Sean’s brothers stories, and I have read Ace’s story and noticed Logan makes an appearance in both series. I’ve even read Finn’s but I need Logan and his brother Coles stories! Help!
Also aiden snow is omg amazing! Anything he narrates I am listening to!

Beautiful story

Well written and extremely beautifully performed. definitely a story I will listen to again and again. Not a standalone, you need book one also. A romance of a life time. well worth the credit and your time to listen.

Good Intentions

Wow! What started off with a white lie and a wrong name, ended with a masterpiece! I was shocked with the abrupt turn of events and ending of the first book. However Ella Frank quickly calmed my racing thoughts and worries in the first few minutes. Marcus and Gabe might be in different stages of their lives but couldn't be more perfect for each other. Their love was almost instant. I loved this duet so much. I loved getting to see glimpses of Logan, Tate, Priest, Julien, and Robbie. I can't wait for Ryan's books! Tim Paige and Aiden Snow were both absolutely phenomenal narrating this series.

Marcus and Gabe are so HOT

Marcus and Gabe continue to be hot. How Gabe and Marcus handle their growing relationship is fascinating. There are many laugh lines here but it is obvious that if Logan had a son he would be very close to Gabe.

Great story, narration discord

I was so anxious for more of Ella's Chicagoverse that I actually read both books in this series while waiting on the audio version (unusual for me) and she just never disappoints. Loved the Prime Time Series and was thrilled to see Marcus get his story and revisit the people from the cast of Prime Time, and Gabe is such a little minx. It wasn't too bad waiting for book 2 for the HEA because Ella didn't leave a big gap between publications. I was really stoked Aiden Snow was narrating - he can read a phone book to me all night long! Lord that man has a voice. Maybe because this was the Intentions "Duet" I was hoping for duet narration instead of dual. I had not heard a narration by Tim Paige before and I very much liked his portrayal of Gabe, but I have to say his reading of Marcus was so off from Aiden's that it was jarring and really distracting to me. I realize narration can be a very personal choice. In Tim's defense, I just heard him in a novella that was well done but the pair up in Intentions was enough to put me off a re-listen. I'm sure the Intentions ebooks will get a workout though. Overall, this is still such a great story that everyone who loves Ella should get Intentions. My comment in no way takes away from how wonderful these two books of Ella's are.

Very..very good story🥰❤❤👌❣

One of the best M/M love stories this year for me. I've always been a fan of Aiden Snow and his deep sexy sultry voice, but Tim Paige was the perfect Gabe. I wonder why I haven't listened to him more. Absolute and fantastic narration. Loved the characters and Logan and Tate (Loved their story too) were definitely pivotal to the storyline. This one is a re-listen for sure!!!! No point in repeating things that have already been stated. I am just a little angry at myself for keeping these in my audible library so long. Had I known I would enjoy both books so much I would have listened to them earlier. So good!!!!!! And really glad the author chose Aiden and Tim to narrate this story.

Good story. Good narration.

The characters make this story an entertaining read/listen. For some reason I wanted a bit more bite to the plot, but seeing pieces of Gabe's life slide into place had a strangely soothing quality.

I enjoyed the story as a low angst age gap romance, and I will probably listen again to see if it has a different impact when I am in a different mood.

Loved it

This duet has become one of my favs.
MM age gap, grumpy sunshine romance.
After the first book ended, I was itching to get to this one and I was not disappointed.
Ella Frank can do no wrong in my eyes. The banter, the playfulness and the spice were great. Spice rating: 3/5.

Hits all the right notes, in the right order !

Intense interplay continues from Part 1. At it like duelling banjos, these MCs match and rematch their desires to stave off their need and overtures.

Perfect narration ensures this is an entertaining hot humour fest. SO ENTERTAINING
