Publisher's Summary

Explore the captivating myths of the Greek gods and heroes!

Although the Greek gods and goddesses were powerful immortal beings, they were in many ways still very like the humans who worshiped them. The gods and goddesses are stricken with jealousy; they fall in love; they get angry when they feel slighted; and bestow gifts when they are honored. Likewise, the heroes are larger than life: they’re stronger, faster, and more skilled than ordinary mortals, but they are still subject to pain, illness, and death.

This audiobook on Greek mythology will take you on a captivating journey, so you can experience the enjoyment of the entertaining stories while also learning about the Greek myths that lie at the roots of Western language, culture, and civilization.

Within this audiobook, you'll find the following Greek myths and topics covered

  • The Creation of the Titans
  • The birth of the Olympians and the downfall of the Titans

Full details that all

I think that this book has great myths that are unique and different than many other myths. A good supplement to all the Matt books reading. The myths behind the tales, if you will.

It was a fun way to learn about Greek Myths

This book is a compilation of various Greek/Roman myths. It describes the specific gods and goddess of Mount Olympus and shares a few stories related to these gods.t was a way that we as students could tie together that Greek culture had a history that is still applicable today and make connections about the contributions of the ancient Greeks.

Greek god stories all tied together

The stories are classic Greek stories, some that I had remembered bits of from school and several that I had never heard before. The stories themselves are woven into a larger story. This book is full of such lessons.

Highly recommended for all

The myths busted in this book are a decent broad information for anybody. With the current cannabis sanctioning in Canada it's getting increasingly hard to comprehend the criminalization of weed around the world.
