Publisher's Summary

The straight-talking, best-selling author and Pitbull of Personal Development is back with a pithy and prescriptive guide to success. A five-time best-selling author and one of the country's leading business speakers, Larry has made a reputation for being the first to challenge the positive-attraction gurus and the law-of-attraction bozos with his commonsense approach to success. Larry doesn't sugar-coat, and he isn't afraid to make people uncomfortable, because he wants us to stop making excuses, and start getting results.

In Grow a Pair, Larry takes on entitlement culture, the self-help movement, political correctness, and more. We've all heard the phrase "grow a pair", but Larry's advice isn't about anatomy - it's about attitude. To get the success we want, we need to reject victimhood in favor of being assertive and finally taking some responsibility. With prescriptive advice on goal achieving, career, personal finance, and more, Grow a Pair will give the listeners the kick in the pants they need.

Slim Pickens

Unexpectedly small amount of content for a full price book. He could have combined this with an entire other book. Feel a little ripped off.

half the book is him saying "grow a pair"

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

If he had some type of advise or insight to answer any of the topics covered other than GROW A PAIR. Yes it's the title, but it's also half the book/audio book. So I'm going to grow a pair and demanding money back!

Has Grow a Pair turned you off from other books in this genre?

No. It did turn me off to this author though.

How could the performance have been better?

Get someone to read the book that doesn't sound like Larry the cable guy.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

Other than beating the phrase "grow a pair" into my head. See now I sound like the book! Grow a pair, grow a pair, oh yeah, grow a pair. Did I mention grow a pair.

Any additional comments?

You Think You might be interested in the book. Well my advice to you is just grow a pair, because that is the only advise he will tell you over and over and over........just incase you didn't get the hint ....GROW A PAIR!

He believes you're a victim

For telling people how not to have a victim mentality, he sure believes it himself. He spouts blame toward nearly everything he can think of - generations, politics, etc, When you blame everyone and everything else for people's problems, then tell them not to be victims, it's absolutely hypocritical. This guy clearly doesn't know what he's talking about and just found a good way to make a bunch of money, and he acts like a bully toward the reader too! Bullies can't teach, they just push people around.

I hate reviews

If you want a genuine review don't force customers to make a review to get out of and a book to delete it the book was good
