I will rate this one million out of 10. The lady has a soothing English voice and talks directly to your child (+ me, hubby and cats), yes the cats listen as well, and uses language that a child relates to. For example, if you have any worries from school or home then place them on the worry tree, or in the boat and let them drift away etc. My child (8) will regularly ask for this especially if not a 100% well or has had a challenging day at school.. Superb.

Great way to teach children ways to manage their difficult emotions. I recommend listening to the same track several times before moving on to the next track, this way they get well versed in one technique/imagery and develop some mastery before jumping prematurely to another.

The concept of acting with intention, rather than impulse has more value than any song I will ever teach. My students learn better when they're ready to learn, not when they come into my classroom feeling like they're at recess. Quieting the mind enables all of us to be present. When my kids are present, I don't have to constantly stop, redirect, reprimand, quiet them, etc. I combine this with other mindful activities and games.

Simple to follow and practical application
Glenn has found a way that mindfulness can be applied to every aspect of a child's life. I will definitely be using the activities in this book with my own daughter and with the students in my kindergarten class.

MUST READ for teaching Mindfulness to youth!
Written in a very “down-to-earth” style, the information and activities are very approachable and easy to follow. The author includes many personal vignettes to highlight how to incorporate these skills into your everyday life. I highly recommend this book to anyone with a child/adolescent in their life.
