Good use of healthy advise

Got this for my wife. This transformed her so much in just 2 weeks! she loves listening to this after slipping back into unhealthy cravings. I also learned a lot in this book to cut my diet

Well researched listen

When I reached my 30s I began to notice a major shift in my gut health and digestive system and I actually got myself into a lot of trouble accidentally and took a long time to straighten out.

Sense of then I am very aware of what I eat in order to keep things moving and go the extra mile to make sure that happens. Therefore I am always on the lookout for new products, ideas, (love at this book has recipes) and things to try. I thought this was a good book full of useful information.

Overlooked!

I think this book did an astounding job covering information most usually overlook! We hear far too often women are looking to lose weight but they naturally try researching the fastest way, or hoping for some "shortcut" when in fact if they just implement techniques provided in this book they would see the results in which they hope for! Cheers to this author!!

I feel like this book is universally good for anyone who wants to improve their gut health. Like this book notes, a healthy gut can make a lot of other elements in your body work a lot more effectively, and I feel like the information covered in this book can be applied by both men and women.

Enlightening and delicious!

Really enjoyable audiobook! Very informative, but in an engaging and exciting way. Learned more than a few eye-opening facts about gut health. The recipes sound absolutely delicious, and cannot wait to try some.. I wasn't sure if the recipes would work in audio format, but they actually do, as they're not complex at all. Narrated really nicely too. Great listen!

Good for someone considering becoming a vegan

This book is very informative, detailed, and would be great for someone considering a vegan lifestyle. However, it was a bit too detailed, especially with how the digestion process works. I won't lie. I struggled with getting through that part and the reading through of the recipes.

The audible " Gut Health for Women" has enlightened me on how my Gut works which makes it easy to discipline myself and control what I eat to prevent stomach issues and improve digestion. Lots of recipes have been provided which are easy to make and follow.

Great Resource!

I got this book for my wife because of the stomach issues she has had for a few years now. We have done food tests and tried to see if she is allergic to anything but we have found little help. She just finished this book and we are excited to implement a plant based diet into her life. It seems like this could be exactly what she needs. I highly recommend this book.

Very Detailed And Valuable

Aging is never easy. As we change, so do our bodies. We always have to start watching not only how much we eat, but what. Such is what I am starting to do now that I am not getting any younger. While this book is aimed toward a particular audience, the information that is provided is very detailed and valuable to anyone. This is a book that should be recommended to everyone that might be struggling with the health issues that are addressed within.

Amazing how important the gut is

I'm still amazed how important the gut is to overall health. But it makes sense. If the gut can't absorb the proper nutrients, it will wreak havoc on all the parts of the body that need nutrients...which is everything. With sticking to a plant based diet, I struggle with knowing what to eat. This diet cuts out a lot of the things I used to eat, so I didn't know what I could eat. It was helpful to have recipes for every meal!

A complete guide

Do not take your digestive system for granted!

I am convinced that if we follow a plant-based diet, we'll be doing our guts a favor and all our body systems. You may find relief from digestive issues like IBS.

I heard that the digestive tract is unusual among bodily systems in that it doesn't need your brain's permission before taking action. However, I did not know the ins and outs of many surprising facts included in this book, including how your gut relates to emotions and serotonin!

You may experience mental and physical benefits you never imagined with a healthier gut because our gastrointestinal tracts contain most of our bodies' serotonin receptors, making them the primary regulator of our moods and other emotions.

interesting listen and educational, good narration

I enjoyed this listen.
This was a great book was gave down to earth pointers on what changes in diet that would help many gut problems that people often experience. There even are several recipes offered to help guide the reader on their way.
I recommend this audiobook if you have struggles with your digestive tract.

Has everything you need.

I am already on a plant-based diet and I am also vegan, so despite knowing quite a bit already, this audiobook was quite insightful and had me excited to try new recipes and foods that are delicious as well as good for my health.

Just the book I need!

As a woman who suffers with IBS I am always looking for new and effective ways to control my condition and improve my health and diet. I don't believe in crash fad diets and supposed quick fixes as they rarely last and can actually make you fatter with a yoyo type of diet. This audiobook is totally different as it's a science based approach that educates you on the importance of gut health and how it will effect your entire system. It promotes a new nutritional lifestyle and not just a quick diet that you are doomed to fail at.

It also comes with a free PDF that is has the recipes written down and has some lovely pictures to go with it. My husband also has diverticulitis so decreasing inflammation is vital for him. I'm looking forward to trying the meals and losing some weight naturally.
