Publisher's Summary

Everyone has habits. Some of these are good, others are not. Considering that we are all defined by our actions, it is important that we lose our bad habits. By doing that, our lives will be much better. Unfortunately, losing a bad habit is not that easy.

The kind of life we lead today is essentially the product of our habits - our daily routines - our daily processes. And no one has ever described this natural phenomenon more accurately than the great Greek philosopher Aristotle who said, “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then is not an act but a habit.” What we repeatedly do - the things we read and think about and the routine tasks we perform every single day - is what shaped our beliefs and transformed us into the kind of person we are today. It is what molded the type of personality we portray. In other words, our whole life is nothing more than the sum of our habits. How successful or unsuccessful we are is the result of our habits, just as being physically fit or unfit is.

By changing your habits and tagging new ones onto existing ones, you piggyback your way to opening up those neuron areas and increasing the range of your own possibilities. If you don’t think that this is true, then you really do need to examine the contents of this book because you will learn how habits work and how tagging another habit to an existing one can improve your life in so many ways that you never thought possible. In fact, the potential was always there, but you have limited it by seeing the canvas as overflowing, rather than blank and filled with possibility. You limit yourself by thinking in this way, but if you can piggyback your new habits onto existing ones, you can increase the neuron activity in your brain and reap the benefits.

Take action today, and change your life. Be the better version of yourself by building empowering habits!

These principles apply to everyone.

This book was both inspiring and easy to listen .It offers proactive tips and promts for each habit. This book has a way of opening your mind inward and really helps you to think introspectively. I can't wait to share this book with my family when I return home this weekend. This is such a good book because it uses research to explain how habits are formed and changed. Do something enough and it becomes a habit, good or bad. This is explained in the book. I was most interested in how the book described changing a habit Awesome book. Easy to follow habits with positive vibration.

This book can simply change your life.

This shows the usual diets as the sham that they are and offers habits you can adopt for a lifetime. Time will tell if it works, seems you still need a bit of motivation to change your habits For everyone who struggles with weight-loss and cravings a must-read book. Seriously, in my estimation you wont find a better weight loss strategy anywhere else. Three months later, I am 11 lbs lighter, while never feeling deprived or missing any food I like. The strategies in the cravings chapter are invaluable to me. I highly recommend this book.

The author has obviously done extensive research and provides great information on curing anxiety. This book was a great help to me. As someone who has dealt with depression and anxiety most of my life, I found this book to be wonderful. This book really digs into psychological development to provide a deep understanding of different types of Cognitive Behavior therapies and how it is useful in treating conditions like anxiety. this book will challenge you!!!

This book was very well written not only from a content standpoint but also from a format point of view. The content was well-researched with real world anecdotal quotes, stories and historical references. The format I found made the reading, and in this case learning, experience easy for the reader to feel engaged using Practical Exercises and wanting to read more. Very inspirational and thought-provoking. This is a must read for anyone who not only wants to be a better manager and leader, but also for anyone who simply wants to be a better employee in person.

The End of Self-Help!!!

Listen, I am a family and lifestyle medicine physician who has been fascinated with improving lives by helping patients improve their lives which ultimately comes down to behavior change. I have devoured hundreds of books looking for a format to present to my patients about habit change and I finally found it! Fantastic book. I've finished it and I'm grateful I purchased the physical book over the Kindle because this is a manual that I will go back and consult frequently. "Not another recycled book on habits..." This was my initial thought, but I was mistaken. This is the first habits book that gives you a practical plan for adding new habits, improving existing habits, and removing bad habits

An Instant Classic Self Help Book.

I have finally finished listen this book and have found it to be well written along with being easy to listen. Dean does a great job making the material easy to understand and immediately applicable to your life. It's not a book about making money but ratherit informs you on how to scratch the little things within our daily lives that are holding us back. I have learned so much this book, how to invest in real estate, how to change my bad habits. An amazing book even though I'm not all the way through with it. I’ve always been at the top of my class, graduating fifth with little effort, yet confused about how to get ahead financially. I like this book so much I tried to insert a product link at the end of my review,

This Book Changed My LIfe.

Love this book. The idea of setting daily goals that are so small that it literally by-passes your resistance and tendencies to procrastinate is brilliant. It really works. At least it works for me. I actually have been using this method for decades, but I wasn't smart enough to research why it works and write a book on it. I got additional insights and helpful suggestions to make the habits work even better. I must say, I based my purchase merely on reviews and not because I was searching for a particular life improvement strategy, or because I heard of the bestselling status of the book.

Excellent book for habit.

Describing this book as life changing is not hyperbole. . It's not how we train for anything, in sports or in school. It's strange that I have heard this method subtly throughout my life... but never in this much detail. I'm relieved that this is actually something that works The basic idea is to make progress in small steps, so that you build a habit without battling resistance. Simple? Certainly. Intelligent and helpful. This is a fantastic book for anyone struggling with building self-discipline, and I can personally attest to that difficulty. The writing is clear and concise, and downright funny in some cases.I love this book.

Manual for a change.

Every person defines success differently. To some that is a full bank account, others want a career that will be the envy of all, some just want a family and a simple life but all of us want to be happy and to feel fulfilled. We all need different things to feel successful and author gives us so many different examples that are applicable to all. It is detailed. what a great read and practical book. The author takes you step by step to achieve your goals. When i listen chapter after chapter I was amazed and felt the author really knows me, (but he is not) and this is why you should read this book. The book touches all the small daily things that blocks your yourself from moving forward.

Good content

Seemed to be stuttering in delivery in a couple of chapters like there was no edit of mistakes afterwards. Good content though
