I hung in there and it paid off

The heroine was immature and a bit too shallow and goofy for me at first, but as the story progressed I ended up enthralled in an actual fleshed-out love story. Ari grew on me after awhile and I found myself laughing out loud a couple of times and heartbroken in one compelling moment. It was an enjoyable story with a fitting narrator. I only wished that they had a male narrator to read Dallas' chapters. Ms Isaacs did a fantastic job throughout the book, but I cant help but to wonder how much better it would have been to hear Dallas' steamy dialogue coming from a male narrator.

It Surprised Me

I wasn't sure at the beginning. For a short story she filled it out well from start to finish. The narrator did a good job but her voice kind of got on my nerves. The first sex scene was on point. I appreciate the real world problem of Hollywood/celebrities in this story. This one held me from start to finish. I look forward to more of her books coming to audible.
