Story
After more than 700 years, he was expecting a peaceful and lonely end to his long life. That, however, was not meant to be. A single choice changed his fate, and his soul was forced to live again as a dungeon. Reborn but shackled to the heart of a mountain. This old soul has lost everything - and more. In a world of gods and demons, there is no room for a weak newborn dungeon. The path may be long and dangerous, but with a soul hardier than stone and a will stronger than iron, will he be able to forge his own destiny?

Milton Frederick never had the chance to live out his life as a professional gamer on Earth, mainly because he was abducted by aliens. Unfortunately, he wasn’t returned home after the typical probing associated with such things to tell an unbelievable story to his friends. Instead, he was summarily killed and his consciousness was inserted into a Station Core, a giant, metal, egg-shaped object that could use technology to create traps, Combat Units, and other defenses to protect not just himself, but those he cared about.

Carl was a regular construction foreman. Not the worst, not the best, and definitely not the thinnest. Even so, he didn't deserve that heart attack! He really didn't deserve being reborn into a dog-eat-dog world as a dragon. To be fair, it’s nice to be at the top of the food chain. Now Carl just needs to learn how magic works, which monsters are safe to eat, and why his hoard is so important to him. Dealing with change is hard enough, but he has enemy dragons incoming, hostile environments, and foes constantly trying to get bragging rights by taking down a dragon.

Gregory and his wives fought honorably and hard to advance to the finals, where their last fight was against the Eternal Flame. With their rigorous training and communication, they managed to defeat the arrogant clan, letting them stand alongside their novice friends as champions. The excitement of being the champions wasn’t the happiest part of their year, though. That came after the tournament, when all five of their friends—Nessa, Daciana, Victoria, Clover, and Ling—joined Aether’s Guard.

The dungeon cores are dying.
In the wake of the demon invasion, dungeons are being exterminated to protect the land. The Cult of Chaos may have been defeated, but the Exalted One remains in the shadows, pulling the strings.
Now, his time has come.
Ryan, struggling with memories of his life as a human, finds himself once again under threat from the Church. Only by growing to the fabled diamond tier will he have a chance to save those around him. This time, it’s all or nothing because the God of Death is watching.
Can a dungeon defeat a god? It’s going to take a little more than a stalactite to the head...

Solid conclusion to the end of Dungeons
🡺🡺Rating Teen: some people die and mild language🡸🡸
Hallowed Bones is a reasonable conclusion to a well rounded dungeon core trilogy. Creation aspects continued to deliver on the theme from the first two books. Everything builds up to epic proportions. The only real deduction comes from the story due to the ending being just a little too clean despite the huge gambles.
It also sounds like all the editing issues have been fixed as of my review so shout out to SB for taking the time to follow up and not leave anything a mess like many of the others. Will Watt's performance is clean and clear. The character voices line up well and fill out nicely. All and all a very nice classic audio production with a solid cast and narrator.
If Dungeon cores are your thing don't miss this series.

Frustratingly stupid characters
So, I've been kinda meh on this series as a lot of the stuff happening seems very fabricated rather than believable.
However, this third book in the series just frustrated me. Every character always chooses the worst options available to them;
Can something be cleared up by simply explaining yourself in 10 words or less? Yeah, lets not say anything, lets just stare and let the other party assume the worst.
Can a situation be avoided by simply not doing something? Yeah, lets do it!
Its like the author has no idea on how to drive the plot forward, so he makes his characters incredibly stupid only in situations where it can create strife. But then again, if the characters were consistently smart, most of the books plot would unravel and the heroes would win half way through the second book.
Its so incredibly frustrating to listen to the main character just stand there going "Uhh..." as something happens that would incriminate them as being evil, when they could simply open their mouthes and say ".. Yeah, no, it werent us, think over the situations and you'll see how implausible it is".
The voice actors do a good job, but frankly, this author havent really shown himself to be an amazing writer, dont get me wrong. Hes better than most, at least hes not throwing harems at the main character to keep (some) people interested.
But, if you're looking for someone that can write intelligent characters, then you're better off looking somewhere else.
At this point in time I have about 4 hours left of the book and I might just stop there.. Its getting frustrating that the main characters continues to make the worst choices just to drive the plot forward.

wonderful conclusion to a beautiful story!
Great story and narration!
The bone dungeon is back and the plot continues to thicken. His mortal friends are dealing with the fallout of the previous battles in the ash dungeon. Lost loved ones and changes of power have proven difficult to deal with. They must now prepare themselves as the mysterious power behind the scenes makes its final moves and comes out into the light!
Soundbooth does a fantastic job with the narration and really brings the story to life!

Fix chapter 82, and I’ll fix my review
This is a good book, well written and performed. The characters have grown, the world has changed, and everyone who doesn’t die lives. It’s a good ending, nothing mind blowing, but a solid good.
My reason for the low score is that one chapter near the end is missing all the audio except the narrator. It’s like listening to one part of a conversation. Now while that might not sound too bad since it’s only one, fairly short chapter, it happens in the middle of everything and really took me out of story. If they fix the chapter (and someone lets me know), I’d gladly bump my score up.

Lacking in almost everything as an ending.
The entire series is a build up, with the card gimmick, dungeon layout, villians and such being one note - having little consequence to how everything plays out. The entire thing can be surmised as everyone got stronger and won, riding off into the sunset...
Every endgame encounter seemed forced and contrived on a predetermined timeline. There was literally no emotional weight when the guild leader died. there was so much set up that was made and not used. That it makes it feel like story moments are fluff.
Solomon and the Zealot leader.... wtf was that, there were so badly written... its like anyone past a certain level of intelligence gets killed off and the rest join the church...
And plot wise did they seriously make the bone dungeon the best dungeon in the world by DEFAULT!
