Story
Son against father for rangeland justice. What son could draw against his own father? That's the question Neil Wallace had to ask himself. Neil admired his father, King Wallace, for building up the biggest ranch in the territory and defending it with guns blazing against rustlers and robbers. But Neil knew the days of the wild west and the taking of law into one's own hands were gone. Yet he was positive his father wouldn't be restrained by any scruples.

Story
The first time the Donovan twins, Lucas and Jamie, saw a Canadian Northwest Mounted Police officer, they knew that's what they wanted to be when they grew up. Years later, Lucas Donovan, now a member of the force, is on a mission to bring a ruthless serial killer to justice. For years, Jack Emerson has eluded capture in the vast Canadian wilderness, but now Donovan has vowed that nothing on earth will stop him from seeing this man caught and punished. The oath is both personal and professional, since one of the men Emerson killed was Constable Jamie Donovan, Lucas' twin brother.

For his 42 years on this Earth, John Wesley Hardin’s name was synonymous with outlaw. A killer at 15, in the next few years he became skilled enough with his pistols to back down Wild Bill Hickok in the street. By the time the law caught up with Hardin when he was 25, he had killed as many as 40 men and been shot so many times that, it was said, he carried a pound of lead in his flesh. In jail he became a scholar, studying law books until he won himself freedom, and afterward he tried to lead an upright life. It was not to be.

What happens when people won't talk common sense.
What made the experience of listening to Hangman's Noose the most enjoyable?
I happen to know the narrator, & the lead character reminded me of how he would react to events had he lived in that era.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Adam Knight, because I like the manner in which he 'took care of business'.
Have you listened to any of Theo Holland’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Yes, & I think he keeps getting better.
If you could take any character from Hangman's Noose out to dinner, who would it be and why?
I think it would be fun to take Adam out for a steak dinner & tell him to keep up the good work.
