Ok

If you want to listen to half a book worth of references to his podcast you got it!
I didn’t realize so much of it would be “go listen to my podcast episode…” otherwise I would have saved the credit and just listened to his podcast.

Podcast ad

The book feels like an ad for his podcast. There is plenty of useful information but it’s surface level with references to various podcast episodes.

good tips, could be more in depth

this book has a lot of great tips and describes habits you can change to improve happiness. I also enjoyed the case studies he brought in at the end of chapters to show how that particular change helped a real person.

I was a little disappointed in the lack of depth though. I felt the majority of information I have already read or listened to in Atomic Habits as well as Jay Shetty podcasts.

I do believe this is still worth reading/listening to. He gives some great tools to help strengthen the relationship with yourself and lead you to a happier self.

How to live well

Great synthesis on the science showing how to live well. All the information can be found elsewhere so there's nothing ground breaking, but Dr Chatterjee does a good job of presenting it concisely so you don't have to spend dozens of hours listening to other books or podcasts for the same info.
