Great book for parents

I had the paper copy of this book for years and every time I read it, I stop on Tuesday and never finished it as I didn’t have time to sit and read it all, but I tried some of the principles in these two chapters before and it worked. Now, I am so disparate for a change and I decided to listen to the audiobook and I finished it in three days. It’s working Dr. Leman and I am working on it. My kids are starting to change, less fighting but not there yet and for my four years old he hit us less now, so it’s working.
Can’t thank you enough!!

Annoying and Judgemental

Judgmental - this author basically says of your kid has a certain problem, it’s because the parents did or didn’t do something correctly. He doesn’t consider mental illness or other mental struggles as a reason for kids acting out. It’s so obnoxious and annoying to listen to!

It’s also just a lot of common sense about being respectful and consistent (and not being permissive or authoritarian) said in a very demeaning way.

It teaches you manipulation

I'm not a psicologist, and I'm sure that those things work. I wold make some tweaks to the strategies to be sure that my children don't learn that their father is a manipulator, and learn to be manipulators themselves.
