A cease-fire that has lasted seven years... Worlds half-destroyed that have been rebuilt anew... Friends and crewmates scattered light-years apart... New leaders that would be kings... The Jung threat has been renewed, in ways not imagined. It will take a new savior to inspire the masses, and once again lead those willing to fight against oppression. But who will the new savior be?

Story
The Eden Project was a dream. To start the first extra-solar colony... To avoid the mistakes of our past... To start anew. Three generations, born and raised on a starship hurtling through space. To never know an open sky... To never feel the wind on their face... To never witness the sun rise or set. It is up to the advance team to set foot on each of these worlds, conduct their surveys, and send their findings back to the colony ship. So many questions... So little time... Such an enormous responsibility.

Story
When Van Tudor returns to his childhood home, he inherits more than the family farm. His grandfather used to tell him fantastic stories of spacemen and monsters, princesses and galactic knights. Little did Van realize, the old man's tales were more than fiction; they were real. Hidden beneath the old barn, Van’s legacy is waiting: a starship, not of this world. With his combat AI, an android bird named Perry, Van takes his first steps into the wider galaxy. He soon finds that space is far busier and more dangerous than he could have ever conceived.

Story
In the 20th century Earth sent probes, transmissions, and welcoming messages to the stars. Unfortunately, someone noticed. The Galactics arrived with their battle fleet in 2052. Rather than being exterminated under a barrage of hell-burners, Earth joined their vast Empire. Swearing allegiance to our distant alien overlords wasn't the only requirement for survival. We also had to have something of value to trade, something that neighboring planets would pay their hard-earned credits to buy. As most of the local worlds were too civilized to have a proper army, the only valuable service Earth could provide came in the form of soldiers....

Story
We were fighting on the wrong side of a war we couldn't win. And that was the good news. The Ruhar hit us on Columbus Day. There we were, innocently drifting along the cosmos on our little blue marble, like the native Americans in 1492. Over the horizon come ships of a technologically advanced, aggressive culture, and BAM! There go the good old days, when humans only got killed by each other. So, Columbus Day. It fits. When the morning sky twinkled again, this time with Kristang starships jumping in to hammer the Ruhar, we thought we were saved.

Humanity has colonized over 500 planets under the not-always-benevolent administration of the Federation of Planetary States via the FED Army and Navy. Longstanding grievances over economic exploitation by Earth-based companies have grown into a full-scale rebellion, and attempted secession has been tried by many of the more successful colonies. The Rebels believe a peaceful separation is possible. The FEDs believe an easy and swift military resolution is available.

Action packed story
This is book six of the series and it is best to read the books in order. As the story ended in book five with Aurora chasing a Ta’Akar warship into Ta’Akar space, book six has Aurora fighting deep into Ta’Akar space taking the war to the Ta’Akar. The Aurora is fully manned and equipped for the first time in the series.
The story moves at a lighting pace with lots and lots of action, suspense, great land battles and fantastic space battles. Brown continues to build his characters. Cameron, the XO, is now back on duty after spending book five in the hospital recovering from a serious battle injury. Cameron is great in command of the battle command and communication center during the battle of the Ta’Akar home planet. We learn more about Tag in this book as more is revealed about who he is.
Brown’s writing seems to improve with each book. He appears to be a promising new military sci-fi author. Brown kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the book. This series is a great get away from it all book; it is a quick, fun, entertaining read. I had the feeling that the series was ending with this book but apparently there are more books available to read in this series; cannot wait to start the next book.
Jeffrey Kafer does an excellent job narrating the book. Kafer is an award winning audiobook narrator.

The Final Showdown We've been Waiting For!!
The Aurora is finally crewed to capacity and fighting with an alliance that is taking the fight to enemy homeworld. The battle scenes here are well written and not everyone survives. Attacking an enemy homeworld is presented as no easy task and we get to enjoy a storyline that takes place on both the ground and space. A fitting and satisfying end to the conflict in the Pegasis cluster. Now on to Earth?

This series has kept me locked in, book by book, without interruption.

Captivating Story, Masterful Narration, Brilliant!
Another fantastic chapter in the Frontiers Saga.
This just keeps getting better!
Again, superb Narration, totally flawless and gives a whole new level to the story.
As I have said in other reviews, this is a brilliant story not to be missed!
*******************************************************************************************************
DON'T READ AFTER THIS IF YOU HAVEN'T READ MY OTHER REVIEWS OR IF YOU HAVEN'T READ PARTS 1 THROUGH 5 ----- SPOILERS!!!!

Part 6 sees the Crew of the Aurora finally going after the Head of the Dragon - or more importantly, they have decided to launch a full out attack on the Ta' Akar and Caius the Great, to try and end the war and their oppression once and for all.
This is what it has been building to, Nathan and his crew finally deciding to attack in a last ditched effort to save the Corinarians.
This book is utterly brilliant and you will not be able to stop listening (or put it down!)
As I have said, again, the Narration is excellent.
If you have made it to Part 6 - don't miss this part.
