Publisher's Summary

Harley: After the accident 10 years ago that put me in a wheelchair, I did my best to avoid the world and its drama. I lived alone and worked from home. I’d disappear into my safe space for days, maybe even weeks, at which point my cousin always showed up to drag me out of my house to interact with the world whether I wanted to or not. On one of our outings, I meet the most gorgeous man I’d ever seen in my life; Finn Becker. So what if he was trying to stab his cheating ex at the time? Finn is everything I'm not - sassy, feisty, hilarious, full of life - and everything I need. To my amazement, Finn is interested in me, too. Can I move beyond my insecurities and accept his love? Can I ever make such an amazing man happy?

This low-angst, insta-love M/M romance is for listeners 18 and up! It has no cliff-hangers or cheating and a very happy HEA. It contains a feisty, grade-A sass factory who would do anything for his love, a man who needs love more than anything else in this crazy world, lots of steamy sexual healing, and laugh-out-loud moments.

Great story and performance

The performance was fantastic but I had to leave off a star for the lazy non editing.

Chapter 6 repeated the same sentence like 20 times. I thought there was something wrong with my phone cause I had never heard anything like that before but nope just shady editing. There's a couple more repeat words throughout and in chapter 9 he coughs (not part of the script). Like holy crap that's lazy.

This is a 5 star read for cuteness. However, I left off a star just cause as someone who is also in a wheelchair there are a couple things that irked me and one big thing that isn't realistic at all and could have been easily fixed had the author had the right beta reader to advise. I was yelling at my kindle that would never happen. The majority of the book is accurate though and was a really great read. Finn was hilarious.

Enjoyed

Overall i really enjoyed this book. The narration was good and the story was sweet. Now some negative:
As I’ve read this book before i heard it, i found it quite enjoyable. Listening to it I still found it to be a good story, but it came off as saccharine sweet.
As for the narrator, I like that he chose voices that matched the character descriptions. There was one spot in whole book where one character was speaking, but it was said in the other character’s voice.

There were some other issues i had with the book such as:
Track skipping
Swallowing being heard
Background noises and mic adjustments

So overall, a pretty good book. I will be continuing with the series.

Sweet sexy story

This is a super sweet easy listen story. There are one or two spots where the editing could be better but Justin Gibson gives a wonderful performance and does an excellent job bringing Jada Marx’s characters to life.

Highly Recommend!!!

This is a great MM story with lots of humor and heart. All of the characters are extremely likeable and engaging. Finn is hilarious with his over the top love and loyalty all backed by his potty mouth. The narrator does an amazing job with this story as well and the characters feel very real. You soon become invested in their lives! Both the audiobook and the actual book are worth repeat listens and reads. I highly recommend both versions! If you are hesitant about trying this story due to one of the main characters being in a wheel chair then don't let that stop you. The wheelchair and condition that put Harley in it are handled openly and beautifully but without overwhelming lecture. While they are important and actively present in the story there is so much beyond that in the Finn and Harley's relationship that it isn't the main focus.

Love this story!!

This is one of my favorite books! It's super sweet and over the top in the best possible way. The narrator did a great job capturing the characters. There was an editing error in one of the chapters but other than that it was amazing!!

Love Harley and Finn

This is one of my favorite series by Jayda Marx, so I was really excited that it is now an audiobook. I love Harley and Finn! Harley is sweet and sexy. Finn is a sassy firecracker. Justin R. Gibson did a great job bringing Harley to life. I wasn't completely sold on Finn's voice, but Justin definitely captured his sweetness and attitude.
