A great starter book

If you are looking for a good source of research to help with your depression or anxiety, this is a well thought out book to start your journey.

Poorly narrated.

This book contains extremely important information. Unfortunately, it sounds like a bad translation by the narrator. Such a missed a opportunity to help people dealing with this topic.

Terrible narration

I couldn’t even get past the first chapter , this may be a good book but the person narrating it gave me anxiety .

Even the way she says the word anxiety is annoying and will probably cause you anxiety.

Robotic

I really tried to listen to this and pull something away that could be helpful to me. After listening to nearly the entire book I couldn’t do it anymore. This book is full of confusing skips and repeats that don’t flow well. It was like listening to a computer translator do a poor job. The reading of the book is completely monotone and honestly made me feel down while listening. If you want to hear a bunch of random facts and stories that were basically more facts, this is the book for you. I was hoping for a concise and planned way of helping with my depression and anxiety. I didn’t get anything positive out of this book. I guess I had high hopes.

A most helpful workbook and must listen!

The author of this book is one of my favorite trainers in the field of psychotherapy. As a budding therapist, I am deeply grateful to have come across her work! Throughout the book the authors voice of loving kindness shines through, which in itself is so healing.I will refer to this book again and again, both in my personal practice and in service to others. I highly recommend it to practitioners and those seeking relief from feelings of anxiety, depression and unworthiness!

This book demystifies meditation to all

In mindfulness, it is possible to learn self-compassion through the recognition that situations outside ourselves, or out of our control, need not disturb our inner quiet moments. Each mind, no matter how full of clutter, is just waiting for a quiet moment to come into focus.I highly recommend this book due to author of Storytelling to help explain abstract ideas on mindfulness meditation.

Great concept about overcome from fears
