I like the story but the narration...

I always read the stories before the audio so my rating,is really for the audio. Overall, I liked Wascher's narration. She did a pretty good job with most of the characters and the reading but Cade's voice was...well...too manly that it sounded like a man the entire time. I just didn't fit what the character should have sounded. I mean Dante was the alpha wolf and sounded completely female. I don't know, that threw the entire narration off. So Son some of the dialogue delivery between Cade and Lena seemed off and a bit cheesy.
If you liked the story then you will find the narration acceptable. Not the best but way better than some of the others.

Enjoyable.

Formulaic as far as romances go, but with steady momentum and a constant, enjoyable theme centered surprisingly on the importance of family.

Also... The fluidity of gender in the context of the werewolves is something I found particularly enjoyable.

Good story lackluster narrator

I don’t write many of these. But the reviews of the narrator are warranted. The narration is fairly unskilled and lacked experience on this type of work. Other works might go well but not a romance. Gave off more of the feel of an unskilled speaker who was telling a story they heard or read of someone else then true narration. It is tolerable because the story is so good and the narration is lucky to fall into a type that with the right mindset can be acceptable but I had to consider if I wanted to keep this one. I decided to in spite of the narration. The story saved the narrator though it did barely.

Not great

This book just wasn't great. It has good part s, the narration was decent at best. The character development is eh. This book had potential, it could 've been a contender!

Terrible narration

The story was ok, cliche but entertaining. The narration did not fit the book, voices felt wrong for several of the characters. I would not recommend listening to the audiobook, but instead reading the story.

Narration

I have no idea about the story line because I could not get past the narration. the characters all sounded childish and petulant and the voice acting sounded forced. I will put this narrator on my list of books to avoid. narrators can break an other wise good audio book.

this narrator is not for me.

the narrator totally killed this story for me. I ended up needing to return the book
I got this book due to review and do t mind the odd werewolf story however this just seemed light on for depth and the narators voice and tone used for Cade made her sound like a 12 year old boy.
some things in the story also didn't really add up. almost like it was written in bitsa's and then joint together.
