Worth it.

I think we can all agree, the first book was Meh, the second book got better. But the third, this one, made it all worth it… I cannot wait to start the next one

You won't regret this series.

I'm addicted to Sarah J Maas. Her world building and characters, they feel real, like you know them.

This was amazingly painful and I love it!

This is honestly one of the best books I’ve ever read, I read the series because I loved the a Court of thorns and roses series so much and I have truly fallen in love with Sarah J Maas’s is writing! Have been crying and screaming both out of happiness and pain for the past three hours reading the end of this book and I could not be happier about it. The end of the second book was amazing but the end of this book was somehow so much more amazing and I know it’s going to get better! I am finishing this book at 1:30 in the morning because the last 20 or so chapters I could not put the book down. I tried to put the book down, I was very unsuccessful. I love this series so much!

Haven’t been this in love with a fantasy series since HP

So I loved a court of thorns and roses series by the same author and I was worried this would be so similar it wouldn’t be interesting but the twists and turns of this plot are just as enthralling!! I am so glad I decided to listen! The first book was kind of slow and honestly now reading deeper into it pretty vague so I’m glad I stuck with the series and continued reading! Heir of Fire was so good that on the one hand I can’t wait to read the next one but I also am anxious because I think “how can she possibly top this”. If you were a Twilight fan these books will blow you away. If you were an HP fan you’ll feel like you finally found a new halfway fantasy decent series! Happy Listening!

Love this one!

This is the first book of the series that really got me obsessed the first time I read it. There's so much character development and depth to each and every character from this book forward in the series, if you've made it through the first two to this one, you will not be disappointed!

Picked up at the end

I did not care for the beginning of the book. It was slow and the main character was less than impressive. However, the development of all the characters and the storyline ended up being great at the end.

Furthermore, I don’t like the narrator. She is over dramatic at times when the situation does not call for it. She makes some of them sound like whiny teenagers. Regardless, I was able to get passed it and I am not letting it stop me from listening. I would not be sad if Maas decides to use someone else though.
