Story
Deep in the tainted lands of the Eightpoints, a child is born during an apocalyptic storm. As omens and prophecies swirl around it, with Archaon himself marking the boy, a brutal hunt begins, each warband striving to claim the child for their own ends. To Burak the Bloodseer and his Untamed Beasts, the child must be found and destroyed. To Ashrath Silenthis and his Splintered Fang, it is Archaon’s heir and a means of buying his favour. To Lord Rakaros, the fanatical leader of the Scions of the Flame, the child must be given to the fire.

Story
It is said that all who live belong ultimately to the Undying King. In the shadowy lands of Shyish, Nagash, God of Death, calls forth his soulless legions to reassert his dominion. His dread advance begins with the free city of Glymmsforge, bastion of Azyr in the Realm of Death. Standing between Nagash and his prize are the brooding Anvils of the Heldenhammer, an ancient host of Stormcast Eternals, and Lord-Castellant Pharus Thaum, guardian of the Ten Thousand Tombs. As battles between the living and the dead rage throughout the Mortal Realms, the War of Heaven and Death begins anew.

Now Gotrek has returned, having outlived the old gods and the Old World. Story
Three great heroes - Hamilcar Bear-eater, Neferata and Prince Maesa - each face very personal trials that could see them fall into darkness in these three tales that beautifully evoke bitter melancholy - as well as provide audio action. The gods are at war. As the Mortal Realms plunge into darkness and despair, there are an ambitious few who seek to turn these fortunes in their favour. Within the nightmarish, labyrinthine halls of Shadespire, a famed Lord-Castellant must escape the Mirrored City to cement his legend forever.

Within this book you will find Hammerhal, a fantastic new novella from Josh Reynolds: Dark forces stir within the bowers of the mysterious Hexwood. A great warhost of Tzaangor beastkin, creatures devoted to Tzeentch, the Architect of Fate, defile the once verdant lands of Ghyran. All that opposes them are the noble Stormcast Eternals of the Hallowed Knights. Reforged in resplendent sigmarite and wielding the lightning of Azyr, few can stand against these heroes. Also within this book is a host of awesome short stories giving you a flavour of the many warring armies that exist within the worlds of Warhammer Age of Sigmar.

Publisher's Summary
A Realmslayer audio drama.
When the Runefather of the Unbak lodge is killed, his Runesons set out to find his killer and avenge him – with the throne going to he who wins the day!
Listen to It Because
Discover the fate of the Unbak Fyreslayers after Gotrek Gurnisson left their company. It's a tale of loss, grief, anger, grudges, and vengeance – everything you want from a duardin story!
The Story
The mighty Unbak lodge is beheaded. Runefather Aruk-Grimnir and his heir, Angruk, have been assassinated in their hearth by a vile and mysterious foe. To restore the honour of the Unbak and determine who will take up the mantle of Grimnir, the fearsome Runesons declare that whoever can slay the killer of their kin will be declared Runefather. It is a perilous task that will take the Fyreslayers into the heart of enemy lands, battling the most ancient foes of the duardin: the accursed skaven and fiendish grots. It is a deed no true son of Grimnir would turn from. Can the Runesons restore the honour of their lodge, or will they fall alongside their father and brother?
Written by David Guymer. Performed by John Banks, Cliff Chapman, Steve Conlin, Sean Connolly and Stephen Perring.

Angry Dorfs
This audio drama basically boils down to an hour angry dwarfs yelling at each other, and I kind of love it for that. Pretty well acted, but the story kind of paints the Fyreslayers as incompetent jerks who will blunder into anything because they're too hopped up on testosterone. Pick it up if it's on sale, but don't waste a credit on it since it's short and mostly a tertiary entry in the Age of Sigmar lore.

My review of Heirs of Grimnir
This is my second audiobook I listened to and I liked the background sounds and the actors voices. They actual but some effort into it. My first audiobook was dull and only one voice actor.
The story could of been better but it’s worth a listen.

Solid, Incredible Voice Acting
This story was really well read, though I had issues with the plot. I feel it was too ambitious for such a short span of time. I think in all truth that it would have been 5/5 as a full length novel. It has a lot of potential and the characters were extremely likeable. I cannot complain, I just wished for me by the end.

Short and sweet, and lots of fun.
I enjoyed the tension between characters, and how they were compelled to strive after vengeance in a competitive fashion. The performance of the Vermin-Lord was particularly fun and made me more tempted to pick up Skaven stories.
