Publisher's Summary

When they were only teenagers, Axel and Caxton were caught making out in the woods at church camp. And afterward, Cax had disappeared from all the youth group activities.

Six years later Axel is astonished to spot his first love's face in the crowd of a college basketball game he's watching on television - at a school that has just offered him a job. It's a thousand miles away, in a tiny rural town. But suddenly he can't wait to get there.

Cax can't believe his eyes when Axel appears in the same Massachusetts town where he now lives. And he's still just as drawn to him as ever. But he can't let himself go there again, because loving Axel will mean giving up everything else he holds dear.

Both men have so much to lose. But as far as their love is concerned, it's Hello Forever.

✫✫ 5 Stars ✫✫

I was hoping for more of Caleb and Josh in this book but I still enjoyed this book very much. This is absolutely a stand alone so if you haven't read book 1, you should because it was amazing but you don't have to to understand this one.

I love that all of the MM books I've read by Sarina Bowen have characters that have known each other forever, that always helps me fall in love quickly with the love story. These two have some serious obstacles to work around to be together but they handle it beautifully. I love that this book had zero self created drama and that ending had me swooning!!! Great book!!

The narration was great, I'm a huge fan of Teddy Hamilton so I knew I'd love the narration but the were both great.

I love a Teddy Hamilton narration!

Just another sweet MM from the fantastic Sarina Bowen.

This follows Axl and Cax, two guys who were ripped apart at the age of 16, but manage to reconnect at 22.

It's a sweet story, with real issues, yet it still manages to remain fun and sexy.

I loved seeing Josh and Caleb in this book and the roles they played with Cax and Axl. I'm also loved Boz.

Fun story with great narrators--TEDDY HAMILTON, ladies! Teddy. Freaking. Hamilton.

I swear, I think I'm obsessed

5 Hello Forever Stars

When I first started this book I thought… OH No not another one where the man can’t accept who he is.

But I kept on reading because it is Sarina Bowen and she hasn’t steered me wrong yet.

And I found that I really enjoyed Axel and Caxton’s story because one accepts who he is and the other learns to accept himself because of the other one.

It really is a great story of finding yourself even when the odds feel like they are against you.

I hope Sarina writes more MM because she just makes you feel so many things for these strong men who want and need love too.

The narration was fanfreakingtastic as always when these two preform together.

*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*

Enjoyable story; mediocre narration

I enjoyed the first book in this series much more than this, but it was still very good. Much like the last book, Teddy Hamilton did a great job, but Dake Bliss just did not fit and kind of ruined the flow of the story.

There were a couple of editing errors too that were so egregious they should be mentioned: At one point Josh (or Caleb?) said they’re going to “Maggie & Dylan’s.” Did Maggie divorce Daniel and marry someone named Dylan? Did the narrator read it wrong? Or did the author forget her character’s name? Also, during one of the sexy times, the narrator said, “he groined.” I’m assuming he meant “groaned,” so, again, either the narrator misread it or it was a typo and the narrator was being a pro and read it verbatim. Either way, it made me laugh out loud. :)

Just Ok, keep expectations in check to reduce disappointment!

Firstly this was free/included for me or I wouldn’t have finished it. The story is perfectly passable but the narration by Dake Bliss all but ruins it.
All 3 performance stars above are for Teddy Hamilton who deserves 5 because he was excellent but that’s not an option to split them up.
Dake’s speed, pace, rhythm and random pauses in sentences and thoughts are constantly terrible and completely pull me out of the story!
I had to increase the speed several options faster just to power thru his sections and it was still bad. Also on more of a personal preference point on top of the actual gripes above, his voice comes across as very Jewish Grandparent, please don’t misunderstand because, I love my Jewish Grandparents but casting him to read a 21 year old just makes Zero sense in Audio Book Land.

Doesn’t compare to Him and Us

I absolutely loved Him and Us, but this story falls short. I couldn’t get into it at all and if it hadn’t been included on audible for free I wouldn’t have finished it.

Stay away. One of the narrators (Dake Bliss) is awful

Someone below said it and I thought “come on how bad can the guy be?” But yikes he’s awful. From the fact that it seems like he’s using less professional equipment that your standard audible narrator (I have to turn up the volume five extra notches for his as compare to Teddy’s) to the fact that he is so stilted in his “performance” (I use that word so loosely.) Where as Teddy is truly what you’re used to from great audiobook narrators this other guy (Dake...dank) is reading poorly and doing such a stilted.....job of it. (That weird ellipses pause there is what it’s......like to hear him read the book) honestly I’m trying to decide if I should ask for money back because wow. Please only listen to this as a last resort. Read it or just skip this story overall. That’s how bad the performance is to hear. I truly love the author’s other works but this is a painful listen.

I REALLY LOVED THIS ONE!! GREAT STORY!!!

If you could sum up Hello Forever in three words, what would they be?

Beautiful, Sexy, Awesome!!

What did you like best about this story?

The love these 2 guys had for each other...they were childhood sweethearts...they were meant to be!! LOVED!!!

Have you listened to any of Dake Bliss and Teddy Hamilton ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have...this one was better than book 1...Older characters and they were more settled into each other I think...It just clicked better!!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Both!! My heart is so full now!!

Any additional comments?

Axel and Cax!!! Ohhh these poor young men just wanted to be together..to love each other freely and Cax's dad was a total D Bag...he tried everything to keep them apart..threats first.and when it didnt work...Violence....But true love is unbreakable....and in the end it prevailed...I love Sarina Bowen books!! I need more!!

TOTALLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Another great standalone MM from Sarina

As book 2 from the series, I expected more involvement from Josh & Caleb, but they weren't really in the book. That being said, this means the book makes a great standalone for Axel & Cax.

Story has a heartbreaking past and abusive, homophobic father, culminating at a very scary (and very realistic) climax...however as happy endings go, this ties everything up really well and cleanly. I'm happy with the way the book ended.

Teddy and Dake are great as always.

Loved this!

Romance novels are the literary equivalent of dessert - often gooey, sometimes sticky, always sweet - and who doesn’t like dessert? I’ve enjoyed every Sarina Bowen m/m novel I’ve read. I warm to the characters, I find the plots engaging, and I’m hooked on the happily ever afters! Teens, Axel and Cax meet during church activities only to have their friendship derailed. Years later Axel wants to reconnect, while Cax fears the fallout of a relationship will have on his repressed family. Delicious narration by the best in the business!

Got a bit bored

I returned this one as I won't listen again. By the end I just wanted it to end. Story was predictable, sweet, but predictable. Just got bored by about half way but persevered.
The two main characters Ax and Cax - kind of confusing too
