Two's Company..Three's A Crowd.. But Still Good!

I rarely listen to stories regarding threesomes but love shifter romances so I thought I give this story a shot. Overall, it was decent, had great characters, and moved at a steady pace. There's also a few steamy scenes too boot! I liked how Jasmine created a plot where there were two alphas over the same pack, it's rare to see that in a shifter story. I liked this one enough I would check out other books by Jasmine.

As always, Meghan does an AWESOME job narrating, and her characters are easily distinguishable.

I received this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

Cute, little Menage Romance

I received this audio book free for an honest review. This was a cute menage romance. It had a complete story, with defined characters. There was a bit of suspense and a whole lot of romance. Always love it when a human female has to prove herself, physically. The author, Jasmine, does a great job of creating the story and developing the strong characters. Genevieve and her two shifters, Asher and Sylan, have figured out how to run their pack with two alphas so it should work with two men and one mate. Enjoyed reading this light-hearted story.

What did you love best about Her Alpha Twins?

I

Any additional comments?

I was given this book in return for honest unbiased opinion. This menage shifter book was AWESOME!! I enjoyed the narration, the drama as well as the fact that the Alphas had to work to have the mate that they wanted. Now with that being said this is not your typical Mating and not your typical Wolf Shifters but hey I love a change in the norm. Overall I thoiught this book was good and I would listern to it again.

Threesome?

This story lived up to all my expectations of shape shifters/ were wolfs and how quickly they mate. I do hope the author sees fit to do another these three. The narrator did a wonderful job with the multi characters. I received this free for an honest review from the author or narrator.

Her Alpha Twins

Any additional comments?

This is a great book written by Jasmine White and narrated by Meghan Kelly. When Genevieve moved to a small town in Georgia, she was hoping for a quiet life, but she had no idea that the town was home to a secretive pack of werewolves and her life was going to be anything but quiet.Intrigued by the new arrival, twin Alpha Wolves Asher and Sylan made it their business to investigate Genevieve and find out if she may pose a threat to their pack.
However, upon meeting her, the twins knew that they had met their future mate. Now they must convince Genevieve that not only is she destined to join them as a mate, but that she must also be shared by the twin Alphas of the wolf pack. This book had a good story and well developed characters.

The narrator Meghan Kelly did a wonderful job, and was very easy to listen too. She did a great job with the different characters and their voices. If you are looking for a good menage book, then you should read/listen to this book. I am looking forward to listening to more books by this great narrator.

Would you try another book from Jasmine White and/or Meghan Kelly?
From Jasmine White, probably. From Meghan Kelley, less likely (Read below).

I noticed with this story that the writer had a few issues, at least that’s what it seemed like based on how the narrator read certain parts. One example involved the word ‘laughter’. I forgot what part of the story it was, but when the narrator came to it, she pronounced it as though it would be misspelled. She pronounced it as ‘laughger’, instead of with a ‘t’. Or there are grammatical issues, for example, “He’s getting too big for his britches anymore.” Anymore? Of course, if I had read the story, I'm sure I could have found many more mistakes. But that doesn't necessarily detract from the story because I love looking for mistakes. The story itself was all right, nothing to write home about though. I've read many werewolf-related stories, so the fact that this one had two alphas leading a single pack was different. While I like authors who come up with their own unique twists to add to stories based on common themes, this twist might have been too much. The whole relationship between the three main characters moved way too fast. They didn't seem to do anything unless they did it (sex, make-out, talk) together.

Would you recommend Her Alpha Twins to your friends? Why or why not?
Well considering I don't really recommend stories I read to others, I would if someone asked about an interesting werewolf story.

How did the narrator detract from the book?
The narrator sounded like she had a cold or scratchy throat or something a majority of the time, especially when she was just narrating/telling the story. Otherwise, there were times when it sounded like she was moving away from the microphone, specifically whenever she said something like ‘Asher said, Sylvan replied, so-and-so acknowledged’. When the narrator talked as both Asher and Sylvan at the same time, she sounded like she got a lot closer to the microphone. The whole ‘moving back and forth’ was annoying. Maybe audiobooks aren’t for me, I only started listening to them while I exercised (I get bored easily when exercising is involved so the stories are supposed to keep me focused). I don’t know. Something I would change about audiobooks, in general, is having more than a single narrator/person. I think there should be AT LEAST one man and one woman. There is a definite difference between reading a story and listening to one. The reader typically imagines what the character’s voices sound like, but hearing the female narrator vocalizing a male character’s voice…definitely sounds like a woman pretending to be a man. This is a big part of reading and so with the single audiobook person (typically), it’s a negative for me. So in that regard, it’s not possible, at least for me, to give as good of a rating/review as it would have been if I’d just read the story myself.

Did Her Alpha Twins inspire you to do anything?
Based on how the story ends...that's what she said.

Any additional comments?
Questions/Comments:

A single werewolf would mate with a single woman. The fact that both of the brothers planned on mating with her? That’s a first.

The whole Sylvan/Asher/Genevieve relationship moved extremely fast! And having the story end with the guys performing anal on her? Speechless.

After Sylvan and Genevieve have relations in the woods and hear the other wolves howling, instead of Sylvan going after the wolves to find them, why didn’t they just leave in the vehicle they had come in?

If one of the bad wolves were still outside the house, and Sylvan and Asher had no real proof that Raul and his gang were the ones that started the fire, why did they not seem to care about him? There was there proof.

Too short

This book seemed to just get started when it ended… it was too short overall story was ok and a good distraction. It has some unique ideas about mating with the biting and such. Didn’t like the reader. She was too breathy and didn’t put much effort to her voice when changing characters. I would buy it again at discounted prices.

Pretty good story

First off, I enjoyed listening to the book, mostly. One of the best things about shifter books is the sense of family within the packs, which this one really seemed to lack. There was little to no respect for the alphas. Conflict is necessary for a book, but this one was a little too much amongst the entire pack. They seemed to have no issue with the Alpha’s home being destroyed with people inside. The narrator did a good job overall, but her voice was a bit too much like Marge Simpson, which can get really annoying.

Fantastic shifter romance!

This is the first book by this author I have listen to and I loved it. This story is well written and narrated. It’s quick listen less than 6 hrs. I definitely recommend this audiobook.
The narrator is one of my favorite narrator’s to listen to. She does a fabulous job with the characters and voices of each character which makes it easy to distinguish between the characters. She also does fantastic male and female voices.
