Publisher's Summary

Four sexy dragon shifters. A huntress with a dark past. A bond that could save the world.

I’ve spent my entire life running from my past and staying out of trouble. That’s how I’ve kept alive ever since my parents were killed by the Black Dragon, who’s ruled the world under her oppressive talons for as long as anyone can remember.

But it’s hard to keep a low profile when four handsome strangers turn up in your village claiming you’re destined to save the world. According to them, they’ve been chosen by the gods to become elemental dragons — and I’m their fated mate.

Which means one day I’ll be the most powerful dragon of all, able to control all four elements. Assuming I can unlock my powers first…by getting intimate with each of my sexy mates.

Auric, the clever prince. Jasin, the cocky soldier. Slade, the protective blacksmith. Reven, the mysterious assassin. And me. We’re the only ones who can bring balance to the world and overthrow the Black Dragon — if she doesn’t tear us to shreds first.

But as we continue our journey, secrets are uncovered about my mates that make me question everything, even as things heat up between us. Yet the greatest secret of all lies in my own past — and it might destroy us completely.

This collection contains all five novels in the Her Elemental Dragons series — Stroke the Flame, Kiss the Sky, Shake the Earth, Ride the Wave, and Embrace the Dark — as well as the prequel novella, Light the Fire.

Who knew dragons could be so sexy!

This is a five book series written by Elizabeth Briggs. It is a reverse harem book series. The total audio time for the entire series is just over 31 hours. Not only is it a value buy but, I am able to get to the end not wondering if there is more. Briggs did an amazing job creating this world of elemental dragons. The plot is unique and is not slow to start. Once you begin the action happens almost immediately.

Imagine being a normal girls and then some natural phenomena happens. Sudden you're dreams are filled with sexy men. If that's not hot enough what happens when you realize these men are real and are standing right in front of you? *Gulp* Not only does she have to seal the bond with her dragons but, there is a big evil that needs to be defeated. Will they defeat the evil? Will they all come together into this forced bond?

Lia Langola and Stephen Dexter are a dynamic duo. They are able to voice multiple male and female roles in a very distinctive way. There is not confusion as to who is who as the characters change. They certainly bring the sexy to the dragons.

Everything you need for a feel good story!

There are a total of five books and a novella in this complete series. The novella is about two hours and it takes place right at the time of the birth of the heroine. I hadn't read the info in detail so I was pleasantly surprised this was the story of Calla.
Books 1-4 are is the story of Kira who does her best to live a low-profile life, under the oppressive rule of the Black Dragon Nissa and her four other dragons (who are also her mates).
On her 20th birthday, she gets a surprise! Her trials and triumphs through the 4 book adventure were captivating. The character development was great. Kira too gets to have four mates as she finds out she is meant to replace the Black Dragon. I don't think I would have been able to choose between those guys either. Each man was as lovely as they were unique. I enjoyed that Briggs did not just make them compliant and flat characters.
I did eye-roll a bit at the speed at which Kira went from virgin girl to enjoying multiple partners as a pro.
The narration was great. Both narrators did a great job with the myriad of characters they had to portray. I was never confused about who was talking and who was male/female.
Book 5 is the story of the daughter of Kira and her dragons. Sora is turning 20 and as with any good story, complications happen. This book too was well written and I was sorry to see the series end.
Definitely recommend! Especially for 1 credit!!!

it was so hard getting past the narration. although the story would have been good without the unnecessary force sex . I just couldn't get past book 2. do not recommend.

It was okay

I really liked the narrators, he did a good job with the different characters. The books were predictable, to much not needed anxiety on the heroines part. But I just couldn’t get through the last book, got about 2 hours in and it’s the same story on with her daughter. I don’t speak for anyone else, but this one I could return, won’t listen to it ever again.

The duet style narration is such a bad idea

The female narrator was tolerable, if not a bit off the mark with pronunciation. The guy was all over the place with his accents and pronunciation. Maybe they could like, confer on how names are supposed to be pronounced. Some of his characters were so irritating and his femme voice was so weak. Bleh. But if you’re here for the smut, you’ve found it.

love the girl reader hate the guy reader

He literally made a man sound like a woman, I hated it. The author sung to my heart taking the story threw all the way to the end!!! absolutely great, I feel like there's a continuation story, but at least the story was finished.

Repetitive

I like the plot, and the reading of this, but the way it is written is so redundant that I will probably never pick this author again

would definitely recommend

The 1st 4 books flowed from one to the other very well and were interesting all the way through.
I found the 5th book a little harder to get into at the start but after a short while it became more and more interesting.
I would recommend listening to the final book 1st as it is technically a pre lude to the rest.
