Story
Team Alpha is celebrating the holidays, but a surprise blizzard has snowed them in at Bossman and Papa P’s house, along with a few friends. Not that Papa P minds. He’ll take any excuse to keep his loved ones close and stuff them full of good food. It’s not only snow that’s flying through the air, however. Omega counselor Dean and team beta leader Sam may have found more than a little holiday cheer while joining the team’s holiday festivities. And Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without Bossman and Papa P recounting the joy of their anniversary and the hard times before.

River Erikson is a man on the run. After scenting his true mate, he’s done everything in his power to escape. Just because he was born an omega doesn’t mean he needs to answer fate’s call and drop to his knees for some alpha. Especially not a smug mafioso who thinks way too much of himself. Luckily, his job at STAHP - the vicious vigilante organization that works to police shifters when law enforcement can’t - keeps him busy enough that he can try to forget how his traitorous body reacts whenever a certain muscled Russian is around.

Publisher's Summary
Team A.L.P.H.A.: Six battle-hardened alphas with one goal - to save any omega in peril.
Jonah McKiernan has a phobia of germs, dirt, and the government, so naturally his mate turned out to be an FBI agent who he found near death at the back of a shipping container under piles of filth.
Matthew Hutchins had been working undercover for years, until a fellow agent - and former friend - exposed him to cover up his own dirty dealings.
Matthew is determined to bring his betrayer to justice, and Team ALPHA finds out that maybe their loose ends aren’t completely tied up. But while Jonah wants to go full shifter justice on their remaining enemies, Matthew is a man of the law and will not budge.
But sometimes, you have to fight dirty to get clean, and both men’s core beliefs will be challenged as they approach the final showdown.
This is the sixth book in this exciting series, but can definitely be listened to as a stand-alone novel. You can expect to find naughty, knotty scenes of steamy passion, along with a lot of potty-mouth language and occasional violence. Be prepared for copious and inappropriate uses of sanitizer, the return of STAHP, and all your favorite characters.
Trigger warnings: graphic violence and mention of human trafficking. HEA definitely included, intended for 18+ listenerds only. Seriously, would you expect anything less from Susi Hawke and Crista Crown?

A poor performance of a good story
Jonah McKiernan and Matthew Hutchins are an unusual couple, the alpha being as unlike any alpha as one can imagine in this world. He's a tech wiz with Team ALPHA, a germophobe, mistrustful of the government and a serious worrywart. His mate Matthew is an FBI agent whom Jonah found when he and his team went to rescue omegas. The story deals with both the personal -- Jonah's and Matthew's mating and growing relationship -- and the professional -- their work to capture and punish the man who had blown his cover and caused him to end up in a container full of damaged and dead omegas bound for sale by the cartel his betrayer -- formerly his friend and fellow agent -- worked for.
Each man has to learn to compromise by the end of the tale in order for both their goals to be achieved, even though in the beginning Matthew as a federal agent is dead set against shifter justice, which is the only thing that Jonah believes works for shifters. The issues that come up between them sometimes seem a bit forced, but they figure them out without too much drama. The only negative thing I have to say about the story was that it seemed the writers weren't sure how to end it, so they dragged it on for four chapters after the traitor and his collaborator were punished the shifter way. Everything that happened in the last five or so chapters could have been condensed into two or three at the most.
The other thing that spoiled this story for me was the narrator's performance. I've never heard anything more stilted and unnatural in my life. The long, unnecessary and awkward pauses, the poor reading with no apparent understanding of how to vocally interpret punctuation marks and natural breaks, and the general lack of finesse made this a poor narration rather even than a performance of any kind. I was very disappointed in it, and it detracted considerably from my enjoyment of the story. The only reason I didn't put it away unfinished was that I had asked for this ARC and felt it only fair to listen to the end and provide feedback on the story itself.

Unlikely mates
This was such a good pairing of unlikely mates. You have a germaphobe alpha who finds his omega in the most deplorable conditions. Add to that an FBI undercover omega that believes in the justice system and you get quite the pairing. It’s sad that it takes a heartbreaking event to get these two to agree on how justice should be served but it was well written and part of a great story.
Colin has done another great job and I hope he is doing the audio for the final book in this series to tie it all together.

Jonah You Sweet Man You
This is the sixth book in The Team A.L.P.H.A. Series. A wonderful book the writing was good. The plot was entertaining and it was steady throughout the book. I found the story and characters delightful. The characters were developed and thought out. Jonah (a germaphobe) and Mathew are the MC’s of this book and mates. I really liked this couple and because them I enjoyed this book. I didn’t care for the narrator’s voice (I’m picky), but they did a great job narrating. It wasn’t monotone and there were different voices. I can recommend this book as a good read/listen. I voluntarily read an advance copy of this book for an honest review.

Love this Series
I received an ARC of this audio for my honest review. This story finally see Jonah finding his fated mate. He is the last of Team Alpha to do so.Matthew is an undercover FBI agent who is found near death when the raided the compound he was being held in. These two are true that total opposites do attract. I have really enjoyed this series and hope to see the Beta Team get their series to. Susi and Crista are both great writers. If you have not read this series you must it's awesome.

Team Alpha for the win!
Jonah, who hates all this that could get him dirty, finally gets his story! Matthew is great! Loved the story. So glad I listened to this one. I somehow haven’t listened to the others, but read them.....hadn’t read this one though. So overall, I was not a huge fan of the narrator, it seemed to be stilted and robotic at time. The story more than makes up for it!

Beautiful End to Team Alpha
When Jonah goes on a mission, the last the last thing he expects to do is go into a filthy crate, crammed with Omegas, and find his fated mate. Matthew is an FBI agent, and was undercover with the cartel when his cover was blown and he was gotten rid of. Now with his mate, and the rest of Team Alpha (and some added help with STAHP and Team Beta), they are set to take down the rogue FBI agent who turned on Matthew, and finally take down the cartel.
This book is a "typical" Susi Hawke/Crista Crown book - one with action, a lot of laughter, a lot of love and some heat, all rolled together. It's so nice to see Jonah come out of his comfort zone for his mate! This also ties together all 6 books of the Team Alpha series, which allows you to revisit your favorite characters/storylines while you are listening to this.
Colin Darcy did an amazing job with the narration! Both Matthew and Jonah were uniquely voiced with enough individuality that makes it easy to follow along, and fun to listen to! This entire series is one of my favorites, and I'm sad to see the end!

Is this the end? 😑
I have enjoyed this series so much. Jonah’s book was fun and full of action. He finds his mate in a mission where he saved him from a dumpster. He is a germaphobe so that’s mating for you... they have very different beliefs though. Those might be a problem if they can’t overcome them. But they do have a happy ending. My only bug was the voice for Jonah, sounds kind of robotic. Overall, I had a great time listening.

Great conclusion for Team A.L.P.H.A.
I loved this conclusion to the Team A.L.P.H.A. series! I really liked that although Jonah and Mathew were fated mates. they were still individuals with strong beliefs that could have torn them apart. They solved their differences by communicating, sharing their beliefs, and looking at things from the others' point of view. It was sad that some of Mathew's beliefs were tested the hard way, but I was so glad that Jonah was Alpha enough to provide comfort when he was proved right. I loved the decision to marry as well as mate, and I really enjoyed the roles the other omegas's played in the arrangements, and I loved Pax's Big Purple. He is still one of my favorite characters.
The narration was pretty good, although I sometimes had trouble knowing which alpha was talking when they were all together, not really surprising with that many speakers in a scene.
I received a complimentary copy of this audiobook at my request and am voluntarily leaving this honest review.

Team ALPHA rocks
I love these books and this one is the last of this series. Colin Darcy does an excellent job of bringing the guys to life. This book is all about Jonah the germophobe and it says how special his mate Matthew truly is that he dives into the pile of filth at the back of the shipping container and rescues the dying agent. This was an adventure worth listening to. Highly recommended for all lovers of MPreg shifter action romance.

This is the last one of this series, I have enjoyed each of them some more than others, but have definitely found them to be worth reading/listening to.
It's Jonah's book after having finally got his brother back in the last book, he comes across his mate in a shipping container with other omegas, Matthew is an undercover agent who's been betrayed and can't believe it when his mate smells him under the rubbish he's been dumped in.
Colin Darcy does very well in narrating this story and bringing Jonah and Matthew to the listeners.
This is a fitting end with the whole team happy safe and mated, well done on a fantastic series.

Another enjoyable coupling! When core beliefs clash!
I'm loving the Alphabits Series by Susi & Crista and I often forget it started with Team Alpha. The similarities between these two teams confuse me but I love the quirky characters and the stories to find their fated mates. I found this one awesome! I loved Jonah and found him reminiscent of Gizmo from Alphabits. With the same quirkiness and smarts, I enjoyed the ride, cuteness, and resulting conflict between Jonah and Matthew.
I enjoyed Matthew's background as an FBI agent and enjoyed the back and forth from such a strong omega. I loved the care between Matthew and Jonah and how Jonah couldn't help but give Matthew what he wants (most of the time). I loved Jonah's tech obsession and would have liked a bit more details into his history and the perceived threats against him. I found this coupling very enjoyable, with classic wit, sexy times and a whole lot of fun I thought this was the perfect HEA for Team A.L.P.H.A.!!!!
Thanks for reading!

Entertaining!
3.5 Stars!
Hidden is book 6 in Team A.L.P.H.A. series and I guess it could be read/listened to as sort of a standalone if you're at least familiar with the series concept. I have listened to most of the Alphabits books, which is a spin-off series from this one, so I had an inkling of what I was getting into, still, I think it might have been a lot easier to get into the story if I'd known at least Jonah from before.
I found Jonah and Matthew to be very likable. While the whole 'mates' concept means that they'll have an instant attraction and connection between them, I loved that they both were willing to make things work by talking. They were complete opposites so that made it difficult to find common ground on certain issues, but they made the effort and I appreciated that.
The case was interesting, although, again, having a bit of backstory would have made it better, but that's my own fault. LOL
While I've enjoyed other books narrated by Colin Darcy, this one fell a bit off its mark for me. I didn't care for the voice he used for Jonah and some of the other Alphas, like Ezra. They kind of grated on my nerves and diminished my overall enjoyment of the audiobook. Plus, I felt like the narration wasn't as smooth as all the others I've heard by him, but that might just be me, so pick it up and try it yourself.

When opposite (sides of the law) attract!
Jonah is tech wiz, germaphobe and anti-establishment who meets his mate in the filthiest of conditions and is a Federal agent to boot! Matthew, the aforementioned FBI agent, was working undercover on an omega trafficking case when he was found out and captured. Jonah recognises Matthew as his mate, as he and his team rescue the omegas.
Despite their differences, Matthew and Jonah make their relationship work. There is humour, heat, revisiting past team members and a satisfying end to the series. A lot of fun!
Colin Darcy has provided an enjoyable narration throughout the series and this audiobook is no exception. His characterisations for the MCs are distinct; he is able to portray the emotions of the characters really well. A great way to enjoy the series!

Go Team A*L*P*H*A !!
Jonah is a shifter but is also a germophobe, germs, dirt, you name it he's got the phobia.
Matthew is an FBI agent who is found one step away from death in a shipping container under piles of trash. He's been exposed as an agent by his former friend to cover up his shady dealings.
They meet and fall for each other.
Jonah wants to bring his former friend to justice by any means, but Matthew is law abiding and stuck in his ways.
This is the story of Jonah and Matthews path to love and how thy deal with the shady goings on around them.
This was a nice easy story to listen told told really well by a new to me narrator, Colin Darcy.
But Susi and Crista did it again, they are going to ruin me. Now i've got more books on my TBR than i know what to do with. I'll have to get moe hours in at work yo cover the cost of the extra books.

Great ending to team A.L.P.H.A
I really loved this last book in the series.
It was very well narrated and Colin really did it justice.
The story is great and ties all loose ends perfectly.
Jonah and Mathew are total opposite but fit so well together. I loved the caring side of Jonah we got to see more of in this book
