Loved it!

Hidden Truths, the first instalment in the Truths and Lies Duet, is a fantastic collaboration between two gifted authors, Nikki Ash and K Webster. The story is brilliantly written, riveting, and totally stunning arranged marriage mafia romance, wrapped in intensity, suspense, and surprising twists and turns. The character development is phenomenal. Kostas Demetriou is dangerous, dark, and an heir to the family organized crime business. Talia Nikolaides is delicate and beautiful, promised by her father to Kostas as debt repayment. The contrast between Talia and Kostas is like day and night, light and dark. Despite their dissimilarities, the chemistry is electrifying and potent. I'm definitely looking forward to finding out what comes next for the unlikely couple.

Jeffrey Holz and Sarah Puckett did an incredible job with the narration. They captured and portrayed the nuances of Kostas and Talia's personalities, emotions, and connection flawlessly. They breathed life into the story and made it even more engaging. Hidden Truths is a very well written romance with quality narration, one I highly enjoyed and will recommend.

Fantastic book with a story that does not let up. Putting Nikki Ash and K Webster together to write a book in my opinion is a guaranteed amazing book for me and this one did not disappoint. This is the kind of book that has me hiding from my family trying to get a few extra minutes of story in before I have to rejoin the world. This book captivated me from the start til the last second and I am hoping the next one is here sooner rather than later because I was not ready to leave this world

Hate to Love

Talia’s life is about to change completely. Sins of the father come back to haunt.
This enemies to lovers is so full of angst, it will keep you on the edge of your seat, waiting for what will happen next.

I got this audiobook via a promo code from The Flock and this is my voluntary review.

Can someone get proof that the lovely Sarah Puckett hasnt in fact been kidnapped by a series of Cartels? Every time I've heard her voice recently, shes been in some high stakes arranged marriage with her fleeing Mafia/Cartel types.

This book ends on a cliff hanger, and resumes in Stolen Lies. Told in Dual Narration, Jeffrey Holz was fantastic as Kostas. In his own words and actions, Kostas is a psychopath. He is violent but under control, having grown up as the son of Crete's mafia king. He is both wealthy and dangerous beyond comprehension. When he is told he must marry the daughter of his father's adversary, he does so without question or hesitation. Talia and Kostas make an intriguing reluctant couple. She's been stolen from her life, sold as a debt for her fathers crimes but that doesnt mean Kostas is going to allow her to return to freedom “I am yours now as much as you are mine. And I vow to never let you go, even then.”

Sarah Puckett did an amazing job of portraying Talia caught in the crosshairs of a powerful family and her own. I'm excited for book 2.

Talia start sweet and innocent . Slowly she start fighting and standing up for herself. Kostas is a mob boss he definitely treated Talia hot and then cold, she never knew what version of him she would be getting. The story does end on a cliffhanger so be prepared

Kostos and Thalia.

This is a fast paced thrilling book. I’m a fan of both Nikki Ash and K. Webster and knew this would be an awesome audiobook. It’s different from other mafia arranged marriage

Thalia is strong willed for being thrust into this arranged marriage. I thought she would crack but she’s staying put and she’s trying to find her place in this messed up world that she’s been thrust into.

Kostos is what everyone should envision in a heir to a very powerful mafia family.

This audiobook is done brilliantly by Sarah Puckett and Jeffery Holz. Sarah is a favourite of mine and she has an amazing way of reaching my soul with books like this. Jeffrey has the nuances to reflect his emotions from ruthlessness to feelings as close as one can get to live in this situation. He is definitely an alpha and controlling.

This book left me shocked and just clinging to know what was going to happen next. I’m so on pins and needles needing to know what happens with all of these characters. It’s a story full of twists and turns, surprises and deceit and secrets. Well named as Hidden Truths abound.

Could barely put it down

As much as this wasn't exactly what I expected (and when one of the author's is K. Webster why am I surprised) I managed to finish this quicker than I thought I would. Could have done with a warning for one of those twists, but all said, I'm excited to see how Tallia find her steel spine. Kostas is just okay for me so far.

I need part 2

I love K Webster and Nikki Ash put them together and you get a perfect book like this . Loved Talua and Kostos love Sarah and Jeffrey’s narration all I need now is book 2 .

Wow

Wow.
I have no idea what I feel right now.
First off, I love the story. I don't even mind the 'trigger' it has for some. I'm a suspense lover after all.
What I don't like is the way Kosta alpha a-h0l3n3ss is. I understand the dark, mafia part of him makes him a monster but there were points I just felt like it was too much.
I really enjoyed this read including the cliffhanger but now I need book 2!

Hidden Truths - Part one of a duet
I found this to be a captivating listen with plenty of suspense and twists and turns throughout the story. I enjoyed Talia's character from the start - she was sweet and innocent and it really took her a while to start fighting and standing up for herself. Kostas is a mob boss with distorted views and he definitely treated Talia hot and then cold, she never knew which version of himself she would be getting. The story does end on a cliffhanger so be prepared to get the ebook since the audio isn't available yet. Sarah Puckett did a great with Talia while Jeffrey Holz did well with Kostas I did struggle with his voice for Talia and side characters but overall it turned out to be an entertaining listen with good narration.

Definitely look into TW if you are sensitive reader as the plot twist in the middle was unexpected.
