Publisher's Summary

She’s a fugitive from another time. He’ll set her free or die trying.

Framed for murdering her ex-boyfriend, US Army officer Amber Ryan flees to Scotland and hides out in the ruins of Inverlochy Castle. But when a Highland faerie transports her back to 1308, she’s catapulted into a fierce skirmish alongside a handsome warrior.

Highlander Owen Cambel is shocked to see a gorgeous woman valiantly battling men in the castle. He risks everything to save her, only to lead them both into English captivity. Amber can’t help falling for the rebellious Scot. Will they survive to build a future together?

Narrated by the award-winning narrator, Audie finalist, and Earphones winner for excellence in narration Shane East, and Siiri Scott, the head of acting and directing at the University of Notre Dame with over 20 years of experience in voice acting.

Pass on this one.

I hate to give this book such a low star review however it was so bad. Corny to the point of me saying out loud “Of course” with a heavy eye roll. She made a terrible army girl who didn’t really help with anything except being annoying. It was bad. Gut wrenching bad.

Time travel

To disappear from the worry and stress of daily life especially if you don't have a love to miss sounds like something wonderful. But being on the run from the law is something altogether different. Learning to be the strong person you want to be can be a good thing unless you have to give up everything you want to keep is heartbreaking.
the narrators did a wonderful job and it was unusual to have more than one but it worked perfectly with the 2 of them.
