Hiking for the soul!!!!

I did the same workouts for years. I was eating healthy and working out regularly but I just wasn't getting the results that I wanted. I was frustrated, disappointed, and unmotivated to continue my routine. I switched it up and started hiking after listening to this audiobook. I must say I highly recommend hiking as it switched up my environment keeps me motivated to do more and as a city person I couldn’t have found a better audiobook. Great! Narration is very good

Hiking Fitness Fun!

Exercise that’s simple, sustainable, fun, and fascinating is all anyone could ask for 😃 Well, it’s all that I’d ask for 😊 I love Mik’s personal writing style and the way he weaves his journey into the book while still giving us all we need to get into this fitness & fun. Highly recommended!

Exactly what I needed!

I have been on every diet, and before I know it, I'm back to where I started from. Love this. Super smart audiobook.

I recently moved from a big city (where I walked everywhere, every day) to the suburbs where I barely ever walk. This is exactly what I was looking for! A simple and direct manual for how to turn hiking into your exercise plan. I can't wait to get started!

Need to get moving? Try this audibook!

This audiobook helped me get the motivation to get off my butt and get active. I fell into a lazy habit of taking naps throughout the day because I work from home. I struggled with getting the energy to go workout so I just made excuses. Thank you for helping me turn things around! Highly recommend!

Felt like I was on the Journey

Patrick Tranhey narrated a great story on the Hike Your Way to Better Health and Happiness. Mik's view on the journey was a great look at a way of losing weight. It is easy to say to just walk but Mik put a different twist and brought you into his journey into the Grand Canon. I enjoyed listening and make me put this journey on my bucket list of things to do!

The book is about walking, hiking, and getting in better health

Amazing book' this has helped me immensely in my self love journey.I use it with my weekly therapy and it dovetails.It' s a self work book rather than book you listen to.
It’s so refreshing to hear the author’s down-to-earth advice for weight-loss and hiking. Well recommend.

A refreshing view of fitness and nature

Keep it simple

Mik’s book is easy to read and it inspired me to start walking again. I love photography and used to do a lot more walking before. I could walk for 12 hours sightseeing and taking photos, meeting new people and exploring new places. Thank you for making it simple yet having a meaningful purpose. So sorry for the loss of your friend.

Makes me what to get up and go on a walk

Great for beginners like myself!

What a timely read!

This audiobook couldn't have come at a better time - I decided to start walking every day this month and am 22 days in. Everything that Mik says in this book I absolutely agree with and then some! Hiking daily is truly life transforming and I am so excited to continue this journey. Lose weight and keep it off

Imagine a 79 year-old hiking the Grand Canyon! Inspirational, isn't it? Well, that man's spirit is the spirit behind this book. Mik Simpson details how he struggled to lose weight and helps you know how to harness hiking for your health. All you need is to set aside 45 minutes each day. I started hiking a month ago and it is just providential that I found this book. I feel motivated to keep going. It is not easy, but is realistic and practical.

A good motivational book

Waooh a good book for people with low spirits to take decisions. The book is so inspiring. I loved how you shared your experiences along enumerating what is needed to take a walk. I love your statement that pointed out that the dangers of sitting is the new smoking. Listening to your book was a wake up call for me to get up and start walking. Please grab a copy of this book so we can go on a trip together if anyone feels they need a walk.
