It exploded out of Somalia and spread across the oceans before anybody thought to look up from their cell phones to see what was going on. The infected breathed the virus into the air around them, spreading it through the cities faster than anyone thought possible. Hospitals were overwhelmed. Police lines crumbled. Quarantine sites disintegrated. Cities started to collapse.

Dark roads ahead
Sadness took my heart over thinking this is the end of the road. I’ve never enjoyed so many ups and downs as I have with this series. Somewhere in another universe I hope the talbot clan are living well. BT and mike have made so many miles pass by as I drove along brightened by their friendship. Farewell and may you never run out of crayons.

Disappointed
I am a huge fan of this series. I was very disappointed by this book because a few questions were completely unanswered. We had no idea what happened to his friend getting scratched in the last book. The Avalyn (no clue how it’s spelled as I have only listened not read) story was completely ignored. Payne alluded to an answer as to why the zombies always showed up where Michael was, and that was my biggest disappointment.(you don’t know, do you?). This book had a very slow start to me and left too many unanswered questions. I’ve come to really enjoy this author and was very disappointed by the ending. It just doesn’t feel like a real end, to many questions left unanswered. Won’t stop me from reading more from Tufo and would still recommend reading.

So good I couldn't put it down until I finished it
One of the many things I love about this series is that not one book stands out from the others. Each new release is a perfect progression of the story. Here we are at chapter (book) 16, according to the author the final chapter to the series, and it is a fast paced gory nightmare. The zombies have some new tricks up their sleeves, the sick and twisted evil humans are taking their terror to new heights, and the Talbot clan is right in the middle of it all. I love this story, you will too.

Very disappointed with this final chapter
I loved the series in general, but so disappointed in this last book in the series. So much of it was very boring - fighting zombies over and over and over again. I think most of the 5 star ratings was more out of loyalty than loving this book.
Spoilers:
That Tufo killed off Trip was a big mistake. I kept hoping he would pop up again because he popped out to another reality when the zombies attacked him.’
Just not happy with this book at all.

Fantastic Ending to Mike's Zombie Adventures
I've listened to every book in this series. I just finished up book 15 2 days before this came out and I couldn't wait to pick it up. It makes me a bit sad to think the adventures are over, as it's hard to get enough of the humor of this series. That being said, it was an entertaining, hilarious, and sad.
I was sceptical about even picking the series up, especially after listening to the Undead World series by Peter Meredith and really loving that series, but this entire series was unique and addictive. I found myself laughing out loud more times than I can count.
The narrator was fantastic as always. If you enjoyed the previous books, you'll enjoy this one as well.

Spoilers ahead. Duh.
So many questions, so little answered. Maybe the lichen fallout series put restrictions on the future. Plots that spanned the entire series are ended in chapters and plots from book 15 don't even get brought up at all. Overall I love the series but don't see what this book did to help.

The End
I became hooked on Zombie Fallout as a result of Audible’s offering the first few books for free. Once I was hooked, I went full speed through up to Book 15. I had to wait for this last book and it was worth the wait.
First of all, Sean Runnette has done an excellent job narrating throughout. That was a plus and I’ve always given 5 stars for his work.
I enjoy the silly banter between Mike and BT. Mark Tufo is consistently funny.
There were so many aspects of this book that were sad and some that didn’t wrap up very well.
Ziggy-his story about being so badly abused is painful. I know he had to die but ouch.
I wanted Deneaux’s (spelling?) death to be more drawn out and horrible.
Then, what happened on the carrier at the end? Was Tufo in such a hurry to get this book out that a whole segment was not written about? Where did they sail? What did they do?
Mike’s thoughts about why BT had to leave were not enough either.
I suppose I needed a book twice as long without interference from zombies. I miss Tripp. I thought he was the best and funniest character in the entire series. It could be that we share a generation.
The final scene on the beach says it all. Everyone needs a reason to live.
I hope to read more about Mike in the future.

Absolutely awesome ending
I am saddened that this is the last Talbot book of his universe. These books are by far the best ones I have ever listened too and rank just above the Arisen series by Salisbury. I am an ex soldier and get the humour that Talbot has and he has in some way help me with my PTSD. I take my hat of in respect and admiration to you Mr Tufo, for coming up with such fantastic stories. Thank you and please please don’t stop. Maybe just one or two more Timothy stories. Lol.

Not enough Stars to adequately rate this book.
They say one story comes to an end and another biggins.
This book moved me. This series moved me.
I've laughed, cried, cursed characters and decisions, I've even stood shouting at the device in anger over one of the books coming to an end.
Mark is a beautiful story teller. his writing and the raw emotions from heart break to comedy and even the horror of war and the effect it takes not just on a person's body, but mind and soul is wonderful. throughout this series you are not just welcomed into the Talbot family and their lives, but actually made to feel like you have always belonged there.
the story has everything. Sarcasm, hurt, betrayal, revenge, doubt, hope, love, friendship, sacrifice and of course humour.
It's a bittersweet book, narrated perfectly by Sean Reunnet. his Familiar and welcoming tones portraying the emotions and situations perfectly.
Though the Zombie Fallout series wasnt my first series of Mark Tufos i dived into (my first being Indian Hill, another series i cannot recommend enough) i quickly found myself burning though tokens and money to obtain the entire series.
This is a MUST for anyone that loves the zombie genre.
Brilliant book. Brilliant series. brilliant characters and story telling.
Well Done Mark and Sean. I look forwards to your next work. and cannot wait to hear more from Mike and B.T and D in the future. Creator willing....that'll be you Mark.
5 stars arnt nearly enough, but they will have to do.

Sad that it’s over
I’ve been listening to this series as long as I can remember. It started with me googling ‘zombie books’ it’s been a fantastic ride and I actually put off finishing it as I didn’t want this story to end. If you’ve got this far you don’t need a review to convince you as you’ve been addicted since book 1. This book is a great ending to the story and I hope that maybe we get something else in the future

My absolute favourite series
I am so upset that this part of Mikes reality has come to an end! As always an amazing book. I am an avid zombie genre reader/listener and these by far are my absolute favourite! So witty and so down to earth, I can’t get enough.
If you’re like me and need more Mike in your life then I would say Lycan Fallout is the next one you should pick up as it’s still on the same timeline. I’m now partway through with the Indian Hills series which is AMAZING! After that I’ll be onto A Shrouded World, Trip is around for that one so can’t wait.
We love you Mark, please never stop bringing us more from the many universes of Mike!
And can I just give a massive round of applause to Sean!
If it was someone else reading these amazing stories we would not have been able to get a feel and grow so attached to all of the amazing characters. Thank you thank you thank you!!!
Now off to finally write a review on ZF 1 so more people can fall so deeply in love with these characters and Marks fabulous story telling.

brilliant end to the fallout series.
had me laughing and almost crying. this is a stand out series of novels with humour and emotion that have been incredibly performed by Sean runnette. Worth every penny.

Sad to see Mike go
Having lived with Mike Bt and the rest of the guys whilst working and living in the UK and now being retired and travelling through Africa in our old Land Rover.
I’d like to say a big thank you to Mr Tufo for not giving up & battling through to produce an outstanding series with ups downs and sometimes sideways scenarios.

everything good has an ending
Mark wow, what an amazing story from book 1 to book 16 you kept me eagerly awaiting the next book. I've listened intently to each adventure gotten angry at villains that got away and cheered when their demise followed.
You have become one of my favourite Authors keep it up.

Sad to see this amazing series end.
From the first minute of book one, I have been hooked. I spent alot of time just gorging myself on this series and all the Mike Talbot 'spin offs'. these books have helped me alot over the years and I am very sad to see them finish but oh so happy I got to experience them so thank you!
If you are only seeing this now and haven't read the series or spin offs then please do yourself a favour pick them all up I promise you will not regret it. it has been a pleasure.

Phenomenal!! As always!!
I am in tears as I write this review (happy tears I might add, but also sad ones for the end of this series). Mark has done it again! The authors note at the end got me good. I came across Marks books when I was in a bad place, mentally, physically, all of the above! You name it! I have been hooked since Lycan Fallout. Funnily enough I started this journey with LF and went straight to ZF and I can tell you it was one hell of a ride!! Still is! I love these books, the characters. everything! They honestly feel like family. I've become so invested in Mike's story/life and Mark's work.
These books were like that little light in the darkness for me, just like Rich Baker was for you Mark. They're so much more than that! I sincerely thank you for your work, these books, the journey. I cannot wait for the next adventure!
It's time for me to restart the Lycan Fallout series!
