Story
I promised myself ten years ago when I left Bella Port that I would never look back at the town that made me feel invisible—that is until the unthinkable happens and Aunt Mitzi, the person I love more than anyone or anything, suddenly passes away and leaves me everything. We are talking a beautiful beach house, more money than I know what to do with, and of course her beloved bookstore, Paige’s Turn, named after yours truly. Not only that, she thinks she’s left behind something else for me. Or is that someone else?

I, Emma Loveless, have a destiny. It's not the greatest of destinies, but when you have a name like Loveless, what can you do? I'm cursed to always be the friend, never the girlfriend. Unless you count my love affair with Duncan Hines, Dr. Pepper, and the ever-lovable Pillsbury Doughboy. It doesn't help that I have a meddling, albeit wonderful, mother who can't help playing matchmaker. Thanks to her, I can say I've been on a date with a felon. Now she swears she's found the one for me, her new optometrist, Dr. Sawyer King.

I, Charlotte Valentine, am mostly of sound mind. Typically, I make really good choices. I went to college, never did drugs...I even brush and floss every day. That’s not to say I don’t make poor decisions - believe me, I do. They always seem to involve men - everything from gluing my eye shut to falling in love with my boss. Did I mention he was famous? Oh, Drake Foster, you beautiful creature. My sister told me not to accept the position as his personal assistant. Apparently, she thinks it’s emotionally unhealthy for me to work for the object of my desire. What does she know?

Once upon a time, people called me the holiday queen. But catching my husband under the Christmas tree with another woman kind of did something to me. Like make me digitally crop him out of all our wedding photos and post them online. Thanks to all the requests I received to do the same for other jilted partners, I started a new business called the Holiday Ex-Files. Then along comes my ex-husband’s best friend, Noah Cullen. He has a plan to help me believe in the magic of holidays again. Maybe, just maybe, it will be a very merry Christmas after all.

Hi, my name is Bree Camden, and I’m hopelessly in love with my best friend and star quarterback Nathan Donelson (so is half of America, judging by the tabloids and how much the guy dates). The first step is admitting it, right? Except, I can never admit it to him because he clearly doesn’t see me that way, and the last thing I want is for things to get weird between us. Nothing but good old-fashioned no-touching-the-sexiest-man-alive platonic friendship for us! Everything is exactly how I like it! Yes. Good. (I’m not crying; I’m just peeling an onion.)

Am I friends with JP Cane? Ha! That's laughable. Besides the fact that he’s adopted some far-fetched notion from the movie When Harry Met Sally that says men and women can't be friends and work together, it’s safe to say we're not friends. He's annoyingly loud, obnoxiously handsome, and has made an art out of poking all my hot buttons...multiple times a day. So you can imagine how disgruntled I am when I not only have to fly to San Francisco with him for work, but stay in the same penthouse. Yup, we're sharing the same air, 24-7. We're talking full-fledged working roommates.

I was going into what I thought was a hockey marketing meeting, and then bam! I'm going to be a dad and my best friend/teammate is attempting to imprint my face with his fist. Threats were tossed around, friendships were revoked, and then I was marched up to her apartment, suitcases in hand, and forced to live with her so I could take care of her every need. Publisher's Summary
After suffering a very public humiliation, Kenadie Marshall realizes that love shouldn't be left only to personal judgement. Instead of wallowing in her misery, Kenadie creates Binary Search, the perfect balance between a software application and human intuition to help others find true and lasting love, all while personally swearing off relationships for good.
Attractive and loveable Jason Hadley is taken with Kenadie from their first meeting. Determined to prove that love isn't over for her, he does everything he can think of, even if it means using her firm's service and dating other women to stay close to her. Jason quickly gains a rally of supporters, including Kenadie's over-enthusiastic mother and meddling best friend, but will his ploys help Kenadie find her match, or jeopardize everything she's created and lead to further humiliations? In an epic battle of wills, this romantic comedy shows that love is patient, love is kind, and love can heal even the most broken of hearts.

Don't Miss This Fun Rom-Com 😋
This is a fun Rom-com that has likable characters and witty dialogue. The plot is refreshingly different and quite entertaining despite some predictable moments and a shortsighted, yet likable, main character. Very enjoyable and a winner for those who like quirky characters and funny scenes. 😊
Nancy Peterson narrates wonderfully. She never disappoints me.
Note: I would give this a 17+ rating. There is some swearing and sexual situations that weren't detailed.

Jennifer Peel does it again!
I LOVE everything I have ever read by Peel, and this was no exception! I generally do not listen to audiobooks since I can read it myself in much less time. However, I enjoyed being able to listen to Kenadie and Jason's story while making dinner and cleaning. The narration took me a little while to get used to, but the more I listened, the more I liked it! Great job, Jennifer and Nancy!

Love, Love, Love this book!
I love Jennifer Peel. I basically scream for joy every time a new book comes out. For work I drive a lot so I was extra excited to have this audiobook come out so I could enjoy one of my favorite books while driving. This audiobook did not disappoint. I loved Nancy Peterson as the narrator. She had good pacing and helped the book come to life, which I appreciated because this is one of my favorite stories by Jennifer peel. I was cheering for Jason and Kenadie the whole way as I laughed and cheered. The characters are rounded and the plot is unique. I would recommend this audiobook to anyone!

This book was very enjoyable. it's an easy listen and the narrator did a great job expressing all of the different emotions and breathing life into each character. Jason, the hero of our story, was swoon worthy and just want to snatch him out of book and take him home with me! Love is Patient
I was voluntarily provided this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, narrator, and/or publisher. Both the author and narrator were new to me. I think both are extremely talented. I thought the story was original and realistic at the same time along with some very humorous moments. The mantra "Love is patient, Love is Kind" came to mind listening to this clean romance. The story was a steady slow-burn romance with clean language.

Any additional comments?
This audiobook was given to me for a honest unbiased review. This was a wonderful and fun read. This was the best Romantic comedy i have read in a while. This light hearted story is the perfect way to relax. The Narrator did a great job. The Southern accent is hard to do without destroying it, or making to hard to hear the actual words, but she nailed it.

His Personal Relationship Manager
His Personal Relationship Manager
: Jennifer Peel
A nice clean listen that has female protagonist that was humiliated in front of EVERYONE! In retaliation she starts a business to help others find a good relationship. Her best friend and co-worker wants to see her move past the pain from seven years earlier. Next we meet a long list of new characters, some minor and flat, others major and more rounded out. As expected there are ups, downs, twists, turns and bumps in the road. Will our girl overcome hurt and move forward or spend Friday night with her mom and her friends at water aerobics and eating ice cream?
The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed. I've seen other reviewers say they didn't like Zander's voice , but I say Nancy Peterson was sot on with portrayal.

Great Story!
I loved the story of Kenadie and Jason but I did want to smack Kenadie upside the head a few times. Was she really that unaware? Kenadie was totally humiliated seven years earlier in front of everyone she knew at what was supposed to be her wedding, so she has completely immersed herself in her company (finding love matches for others) and doesn't date. Jason, a former college roommate of Kenadie's annoying best friend, Alexander (aka Zander) moves to town and is completely smitten with Kenadie. He decides to tear down the wall she has built around her heart and even uses her company's service and dates other women to stay close to her.
Kenadie's family, especially her mama, loves Jason and can see they're perfect for each other. Will Kenadie ever come to her senses and realize Jason has broken down her protective wall and she has feelings for him, and that he cares for her too?
This was my first audible book and I had to get used to the narration. I think Nancy Peterson did a great job as the narrator and being from the south I didn't think her southern accent was over the top. I didn't care for the voice she used for Zander, but I got used to it. I really got into this book and listened to it while cooking, checking email and even in the shower, finishing it in less than 4 days. I received this audible book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Great Characters Come Alive
What does Nancy Peterson bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Nancy does a great job reading this book! My favorite character she does is Kenadie's mama, I love that sassy southern accent! She gives great personality to the characters and her inflections are fantastic. I have to admit that I wish she read just a touch faster, but that's because the story is so engaging I'm always dying to get to the end!
Any additional comments?
As with all of Jennifer Peel's books I think her characters are so fantastic. Kenadie has a tender heart that she's doing her best to protect. She strikes a tough balance between vulnerability and strength. Jason is so kind, the perfect gentleman, much to Kenadie's consternation. Zander, mercy, what a character. Sometimes you want to join Kenadie and smack that guy, or hug him for being the soft mushy center that his facade hides.
Sassy mothers, hilarious adventures, and all the feelings are packed into this book where Kenadie figures out whether opening her heart up again is worth the risk!

Cute, Fun, Full of Humor!
What made the experience of listening to His Personal Relationship Manager the most enjoyable?
Love the characters in this book. Her Mom pushes her to date, so she'll get married and give her grand babies. She's reluctant from getting burned in the past. Her best friend is obnoxious, but I'm excited to read his story soon! Maybe that will mellow him out some :)
Who was your favorite character and why?
Jason is my favorite character. He takes all the joking in stride. He seems like an easy laid back guy, fun to be around.
Which character – as performed by Nancy Peterson – was your favorite?
All of them, Nancy did a great job narrating this book.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Yes, it is full of humor. Loved her mom and her mom's friends.

Absolutely loved it!
This is the story of the trials and tribulations associated with emerging from heartbreak. Kenadie is a highly intelligent, successful woman who was humiliated at the altar. With her sense of self worth shattered and her confidence at an all time low, she has packed her heart away and opted to live life in the non-moving lane. She uses her heartache and experience to help others find love.
In comes Jason who cleverly tosses her plans, and more importantly her heart, into a twist. Yes, there is a happily ever after and the plot isn't all that unique, but the proof of the pudding is in the eating. I love the way this story has been written. Some of it is delightfully colloquial, as though Kenadie is having a private conversation with the reader. I love the funny characters that support Jason and Kenadie's story. Jason is yummy and Kenadie is so easy to relate to. The story has been rather rather delightfully constructed.
Nancy Peterson has done a tremendous job narrating this story. She brings the story and the various characters wonderfully to life.
This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

Review
Would you listen to His Personal Relationship Manager again? Why?
This was a very emotional story and I am not sure if I would read it more than once. If I did I think I would leave a long gap before I did so.
What did you like best about this story?
I did like the story very much but I found it difficult to understand how the characters could be so dumb and clueless about each others feelings. Xander was so irritating and annoying,.Every time he opened his mouth I wanted to throttle him. I realise that was the point so I guess the author did well in getting that across lol. Jason, for a clever man was just as stupid in how he handled relationships. Plus don't get me started on Kenadie she was the worst of the lot. Kenadie and Zander both had the embarrassing families from hell. really funny as long as they were not yours! I loved it, the interaction between everybody was so funny. Even when things were meant to be really sad you had to laugh in a sick sort of way. I think most of us have been through situations like that.
What about Nancy Peterson’s performance did you like?
Nancy Peterson read very well. Her "Xander" was marvelous, every time I heard him appear I really did want to do something violent to him. believe me, I do not care how handsome he is I would not touch that idiot with a barge pole! Whoever he ends up with better be deaf dumb and blind.
Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
There were many scenes that made me laugh and those were with the family. Kenedie made me cry because she was so broken. She should have healed long ago and had wasted so many years. Biu then again she had succeeded work wise which was good. It was just emotionally that she had shut down. But that was really bad enough.
Any additional comments?
All in all I would say this is a really good book and I enjoyed it. The parts that irritated me I think the author meant them to irritate. I hope I am not wrong about that. If I am then it is me who is the idiot lol.
