Publisher's Summary

Getting fired and dumped in the same 30 seconds makes for a pretty bad Tuesday.

But by Thursday, I'll be in Vegas celebrating my brother's wedding. Since I could use a fresh start, he offers me a place to stay with a buddy of his.

At the bachelorette party, a raunchy game results in a quest to find me a one-night stand. When a hunk with dark blue eyes and perfect bone structure hits me with a silly line at the bar, my mission is complete. I vow to move on from our steamy night as I head to the rehearsal dinner, certain one of my brother's hot pro football player groomsmen will be my Prince Charming.

Then the best man turns around. Dark blue eyes. Perfect bone structure. A body I won't soon forget. And apparently my new roommate.

DONT FALL FOR THE SCAM

The story is not new and the writing is mediocre at best. But still an easy entertaining story to listen to. The issue I have is with the authors obvious money grab. I was willing to purchase the next book in the series until I saw the length and price. You have to waste 4 credits to hear the entire story. Or you pay $20.99 each for 4 books less than 5 hours each. $80+ for a story that could have been told in 2 books? NO THANKS! I won’t be listening to the rest of the books and will avoid this author in the future.

Bummed that the story Carrie’s on to the next book that you have to buy with credits.. so you don’t get the end 🤨

Cliffhanger 😒

Didn't realize it was a cliffhanger. Thought I would try it since it was free but won't give up a credit for such a short listen.

mediocre at best

warning: spoilers.

If you want to deal with a whiney, spoilt, crazy person with visions of love and babies 5 minutes after meeting (exaggeration. was more like next day), then you might enjoy it.

The plot is too unrealistic.

Meet in bar after bachelor/Bachelorette parties for the same wedding. they are best man/ maid of honor, but don't know one another's names, what they look like, nadda. her brother is a pro ball player but she doesn't know anything about the sport. then to top that off, her "protective " brother just arranges for her to move in with his "best friend" who she's never met.

there is just way too much cheese in this story. have some creative liberty, but this is just farfetched never never land.

main character's narrator adds to the high-pitched whiny voice.

then to break it into multiple books? sorry Lisa. the story is lacking, scattered and barely worth 1 credit, let alone multiple. good thing I got this one for free or I would have requested a refund about 3 chapters in.

Home Game

The storyline is great- keeping you guessing on what’s going to happen next. I do find the female lead is somewhat immature, but still like her for Luke. She has her moments of silliness, but it’s apparent that she really has feelings for him. I think, at this point, Luke is fighting a battle with his own feelings.

Looking forward to the other books in the series.

Narrator was a headache

I was only able to tolerate 7 minutes and 9 seconds of this book. I’ve listened to hundreds of books on Audible. A headache came on within 2 minutes of the narrator started speaking. Couldn’t even get to the story because of her!!

Great story but, Money Grab

The story could have been told in two great books however, it was turned into five shorter books. The story was a very interesting page turner but each book leaves on a cliffhanger forcing the reader to purchase more books. Not worth five credits! Makes me not want to try other books from this author.

Not a stand alone book

Catchy story but unfinished. Well performed and as annoying as it is to have unfinished books I liked it enough to buy the rest

So upset with the way the book end

This is not a full story. I am so disappointed. Why saying that it’s a stand alone when it is not.

Book just ends without finishing 👎😐

THIS BOOK IS DEFINITELY NOT STANDALONE!
Really disappointed that this story has been chopped up to spread over several books.z😡

I really hate authors that milk it like that. It does not encourage me to read more of their work. I get this is how they make their living, but so many excellent authors have the decency to write a full story, then possibly do a bonus book or two, without cutting back the original book, thus giving the reader a choice.

However, if you exclude the division, the story was good and I was really enjoying it until…..it just ended😐 queue next purchase to get a bit further through story. It was good, but not that good!
Now, on principle, I will leave it there and go find a complete story to listen to.

Disappointed 😔
