Hard to listen to

This book sounded like someone reading random blog posts loosely related to the subject of the books. It was very disjointed as it bounced from topic to topic often repeating things from earlier. Some topics had no relevance to the subject of the books.

Disorganized and Redundant

For books (which do have some good ideas) designed to help people organize and simplify their lives, they are disorganized and redundant, with numerous random comments. The performance of the first volume and of the last volume was fine, but the second narrator, on feng shui, seemed not to be a professional narrator.

Will give you ADD

Has little to nothing to do with home and life wellness. Jumps around to all sorts seemingly random and unconnected ideas including a few religious ones. Includes unnecessarily specific information on the way to become a Danish citizen. Was difficult to finish.

Very listenable.

Really got me being sure to include dried bean products in the daily menu- learned that beans are the common denominator for healthy centenarians the world over. Interesting to figure out common denominators and very listenable.

I love to listen.

I love to listen about other cultures and their ways of using the land around them. This book gave me a great look at the ways other peoples' diets and culture increase their healthy longevity.

Living better and living longer.

Living better and living longer. If you can just do 50% of what this book suggests, you have enhanced your health and prospects for living longer. And, 50 % is very do-able. Eliminating soft drinks is a major step towards 50%.....and we can all do that.

Highly recommended.

I am weary of all the abstention diets. Don't eat this, don't eat that. This diet makes sense to me. Low sugar, whole grains, beans, veggies. It is just sensible and practical for those of us who want to live healthier lives.

Understandable book.

Every time I use them I am asked where I got them. They are sturdy and the sizes are great for produce both in grocery stores and farmers markets and even for small things like nut packets I keep in my purse. I will be giving these as stocking stuffers for Christmas!

This is such an enjoyable listen.

This is such an enjoyable listen. The author is likable, has a friendly explaining style, and makes hygge easy to understand. The chapters are simple to grasp and are punctuated with fun little illustrations. Once I opened it, I had a hard time putting the book down. Even after finishing it, I still enjoy picking it up and thumbing through it. Highly recommend.

I’ve finished listening to it.

This book is so cute and very interesting! It’s quick and easy to listen to and will make you want to buy a ton of candles and plants ASAP. I will definitely be using this as a coffee table book now that I’ve finished listening to it.
