Changed my perspective of data

I loved the updated aspect of how to visualize data in a changing world. Usually I think of what I learned in High School when it comes to data, but the examples helped me thinking outside of the box when I comes to data.

Insightful and goes to the point

I was once told the best performers take the time to learn their craft. This book helps those that work with visualizations do just that. Great, basic concepts that any data viz, data science or analytics person should be aware of. This is basic stuff, but all too often basic is what is overlooked. The author is well-versed and experienced in this subject matter. The information is logically presented and well detailed. I've listen many many books in my career, this one being by far the most insightful, well presented and easiest to listen. It will definitely be my go to reference in the future. One thing is sure, I will never again look at charts the same way

Data Storytelling Demystified.

If you've ever had to sit through what felt like days of a work presentation, you know how hard it is to imagine that data could tell a story. I really took my time with this book because I expected it would like one of those presentations with countless charts and tables that almost make no sense. Imagine my surprise to be proven wrong. Here, you'll learn how to focus on what's important in a sea of information and present it in a compelling way. I know we could all use some of that!
