More of a storybook than a how-to guide.

I bought this hoping for more of a guide, but I'm not disappointed at all.

Much more than the title implies

The author is a high-yield analyst at Merrill-Lynch. He's take some time to research common themes that make a business succeed (or fail). You can, I suppose, use this to try to be a billionaire. You can also use it to simply make your business more profitable (whether you own it or work for it as an employee). You can use these threads to distinguish between attractive investments and unattractive ones, or sort new clients into high-growth and limited-growth prospects. I'm a dissatisfied bookworm, and in my entire life I likely won't give a total of ten 5-star ratings; congratulations, Mr. Fridson, you earned one!

Real Life Situations

The desire to become a billionaire is not a requirement for reading this book. The book provides great insights and reveals the real terrain one has to navigate to build a successful business. Very blunt for those who want to take the billionaire course. Great reader by the way. Love her voice.

Fantastic. A New Staple

I have been looking for a book that approaches building significant wealth in a way that is interesting without the childish rehash of popular headlines. This book pulls together the Lessons or Principles very well and also manages to provide excellent in-depth illustrative examples. It's not for a kid looking for a light read; I loved it.

Amazing!

I was very skeptical going in, books like this are so often invalidated non sense that can misguide the unwary but How to Be a Billionaire really delivers. It will be one of the few I'll re read multiple times.

some fun stories however a fairly lightweight book

they're fun stories as you hear about successful people's lives. you'll walk away with a handful of good ideas however, if you're not going through many books each year there are others they have much more quality. I think the author is a little delusional to insinuate that his book has more value or Clarity of ideas than books such as Think and Grow Rich. Absolutely preposterous! in the end I feel it is Shirley lightweight book yeah they did find it enjoyable and went through it quickly as I had lots of drive time.

More like a bio

It was informing as of how certain billionaires made it. I didn't find any information that I needed to take note of. I don't think I will have a need for revisiting or sharing this book.

Narration

The narrator was awesome. She has the perfect phonetics and tone of voice. Would recommend this audio book to anyone seeking to build wealth.
