Publisher's Summary

“Let’s get one thing straight right up front: If you’re going to call me a bitch, I’m going to take it as a compliment.”

Christine Quinn, the breakout star of Netflix’s hit Selling Sunset, shows women how to unapologetically own their power in business and relationships to live the life they deserve.

Part prescriptive how-to, part manifesto, part tell-all, Christine Quinn’s How to Be a Boss B*tch candidly covers sex and money, fashion and fame, gossip and gratitude, confidence and consciousness. Quinn has been called everything from “the most-talked-about woman on TV” to “the villain 2020 needed”, and she isn’t shy about any of the qualities that got her the success she has today: tenacity, confidence, and fearlessness, all while dressed in full glam and designer. By sharing details of her journey from high-school dropout to self-made millionaire, reality-TV star, and fashion and beauty entrepreneur, Quinn gives her listeners the tools to define their own boss-bitch style and manifest their own success—without being held back by society’s terms.

From branding yourself with a signature style that reflects your unique strengths, to using your opponent’s poison as your power, to learning the basics of a successful negotiation, to getting fired—and being ecstatic about it, How to Be a Boss B*tch is a modern guide to living a bold, authentic life.

Only 30 minutes in...

I CAN NOT stand to hear her talk about herself. It's so freaking fake. And she has already been the victim/superstar in every sentence. I'm only 30 minutes in and I have to keep reminding myself that supposedly there is going to be a lot of tea spilled. All I can say is that is the only thing saving this book so far...
I tried and tried to finish this book but couldn't get passed the blow-up doll voice narrating it. Had to return it.

Disappointing

I really wanted to like this, but I just can’t. I’m really trying, but it’s not informative or helpful, it feels like one long brag about someone overcoming minor adversity that just so happened to get famous. It’s not inspiring, helpful or insightful. It’s honestly painful to get thru. Ever listen to a 3 year old make up a big drama about a minor issue? That’s what listening to this book is like.

Ugh just okay. I wish I previewed first.

If you are in between 19-29 years of life this may help a little bit.

Awful

Written by a Real Estate agent. Enough said. I could barely tolerate the trite content, breathy narration. Gross

Semi insightful

You get to hear her story an some background info that allows you to view her in a different light. Beyond that it was pretty mundane with info most have heard. Kudos to her though for using the fame platform to increase book sales an keep the public eye. Not a terrible read but i wouldn’t pay retail for it.

Amazing! Must read!

This book has given me inspiration I thought I had lost! It had helped me realized that I hadn’t smiled fully in a long time because I didn’t know how and now, thanks to Xtin transparency I have found that hope we all need so badly after so much quarantining and in my case, so much growing up. I loved to hear the real Christine, not the tampered version the show showed 💕 xoxo

It was not what I was expecting

I will admit I only know about Christine from selling Sunset. In the beginning I thought she was a little annoying but as watched more I got curious. She was very confident and a lot of things said we’re blunt but true🤷‍♀️. Well let’s face it, when you have the producer of the TV show “The Hills” which was fake, also producing “Selling Sunset” you can’t believe everything you see on reality tv. So I ordered the book. I was not expecting to take notes but I did. I appreciated what she had to say and the way she said it. To be honest I don’t normally purchase celebrity books but I’m glad I did. If you’re going to listen to this book do so with an open mind.

Disappointing

This story could’ve been something that was amazing, extremely inspiring. Instead she chose to write it in a way that is offputting and bragging, while that is her brand and to each their own, this is not inspiring for me, but I can see how it can be inspiration for her brand fans. But I’m not inspired I’m just annoyed.
