Life changing
This audio book transformed me! I used to fear evening and dreaded my room due to sleep deprivation. This program is generally simple and profoundly successful. Such a helpful guidebook
I struggled with insomnia for a few months and was at my wit's end. I tried different medicines, counseling, etc. Nothing was working. And then I bought this book.
The authors- Jorge O. Chiesa and Gaston Echevarria break it down in a way you can totally understand and which makes sense. They give tips to overcome the bad nights, learn to look at insomnia in a different way, and gives you relaxation strategies.
Among other books I have read and listen to, I would say that this is a must-have book if you want to definitely cure chronic insomnia. With the use of this guide, I have learned how to deal with insomnia, the two types of insomnia, causes, risk factor, the mind of a person with insomnia, day vs. night, the myths, and more.
In general, this book guided me to stop/prevent insomnia. I followed the tips and strategies I have learned, and I saw great changes. It really ensures a restful sleep.

Love this book
I personally love this book for the great information about how to definitively cure chronic insomnia: stop being awake at 3 in the morning, eliminate nocturnal wakefulness, anxiety, and nerves with natural treatments. This book will definitely help you to analyze and find out what you can do to change your sleep cycles.
Jorge O. Chiesa and Gaston Echevarria go into detail with sleep logs and exercises to show you the patterns in your sleep habits and how to obtain that elusive sleep that you need. They guide you to identify thoughts and triggers and gives you coping skills to work through negative/inaccurate thinking. I love how they compiled this book into so many sections to help you to identify the causes and how to work through them to get past the root cause of your insomnia.
After listening to this guidebook, you are free to try any of the tips and strategies listed in this book to ensure a restful sleep.

Quite helpful
How to Definitively Cure Chronic Insomnia by Jorge O. Chiesa and Gaston Echevarria is quite helpful in understanding what causes insomnia and how to deal with it. During this worldwide pandemic, I don't know many people who are sleeping really well. As a parent and teacher, I don't know how many people sleep well anyway!
If you are wondering why you can't fall asleep or stay asleep or get out of the non-sleep cycle, this book may just have your answers. The book has helped me sleep better in just two weeks. As a chronic insomniac, I'm not taking any sleep aids anymore and I'm sleeping better than I have in years. I found this book to be very helpful and it has helped me learn to sleep again.
After discussing the why's of your disrupted sleep cycle, the book dives into cognitive behavioral therapy that could help work through and resolved some of those sleep issues. It is a fairly light read with spots to stop and reflect on what you've read in relation to your own sleep patterns and journal your process. It helped me and a few of my friends immensely in an extremely challenging time.

Author's advice really works
The author's advice really works. I have suffered from insomnia all of my life, seriously, since infancy, have used various medications, attended counseling and hypnosis sessions with varying success, but this book is by far the most effective tool I have encountered for breaking the cycle of insomnia. Another reviewer suggested skipping the silly antidotes and I think that was good advice, rather than reinforcing the material they tended to distract me from the week's goals. I did absolutely everything that the book suggests and sleep better than I ever have, usually more than seven hours per night, mostly without medication.

Very useful
This book was very useful. I bought this for my mother who is, unfortunately, experiencing extreme insomnia accompanying her menopause. She has tried nearly every medication available, only a few with positive results. Most have horrible side effects for her, interact with each other, or cause her to wake up during the night. With the help of this book, she has learned a few techniques to at least get her to sleep through the night for 4-5 hours with a sleeping pill; she is only at the beginning at this point in time. I have high hopes for this book and expect it to help her more in the future.

Useful
After being diagnosed with multiple sleep disorders I have read and researched a lot on sleep and how to improve sleep hygiene. Yet the authors and their information have added deep scientifically proven layers to my understanding of sleep issues and their very useful tools are already noticeably improving my sleep quality.

Thorough
How to Definitively Cure Chronic Insomnia by Jorge O. Chiesa and Gaston Echevarria is quite helpful in understanding what causes insomnia and how to deal with it. During this worldwide pandemic, I don't know many people who are sleeping really well. As a parent and teacher, I don't know how many people sleep well anyway!
If you are wondering why you can't fall asleep or stay asleep or get out of the non-sleep cycle, this book may just have your answers. The book has helped me sleep better in just two weeks. As a chronic insomniac, I'm not taking any sleep aids anymore and I'm sleeping better than I have in years. I found this book to be very helpful and it has helped me learn to sleep again.
After discussing the why's of your disrupted sleep cycle, the book dives into cognitive behavioral therapy that could help work through and resolved some of those sleep issues. It is a fairly light read with spots to stop and reflect on what you've read in relation to your own sleep patterns and journal your process. It helped me and a few of my friends immensely in an extremely challenging time.

Fantastic audiobook
This book will definitely help you to analyze and find out what you can do to change your sleep cycles. I personally love this book for the great information about how to definitively cure chronic insomnia: stop being awake at 3 in the morning, eliminate nocturnal wakefulness, anxiety, and nerves with natural treatments.
Jorge O. Chiesa and Gaston Echevarria go into detail with sleep logs and exercises to show you the patterns in your sleep habits and how to obtain that elusive sleep that you need. They guide you to identify thoughts and triggers and gives you coping skills to work through negative/inaccurate thinking. I love how they compiled this book into so many sections to help you to identify the causes and how to work through them to get past the root cause of your insomnia.
Listening to this guide for 1hr and 7mins is all worth it. You are free to try any of the tips and strategies listed in this book to ensure a restful sleep. Highly recommended especially to those who are suffering from insomnia.

Great tips
Among other books I have read and listen to, I would say that this is a must-have book if you want to definitely cure chronic insomnia.
I struggled with insomnia for a few months and was at my wit's end. I tried different medicines, counseling, etc. Nothing was working. And then I bought this book. With the use of this guide, I have learned how to deal with insomnia, the two types of insomnia, causes, risk factor, the mind of a person with insomnia, day vs. night, the myths, and more.
The authors- Jorge O. Chiesa and Gaston Echevarria break it down in a way you can totally understand and which makes sense. They give tips to overcome the bad nights, learn to look at insomnia in a different way, and gives you relaxation strategies.
I followed the tips and strategies I have learned, and I saw great changes. It really ensures a restful sleep. Moreover, the book guided me to stop/prevent insomnia.

Love the techniques
This book was very informative and I am successfully using these techniques to reduce my insomnia without having to be reliant on sleeping pills. I would recommend this book for people that are struggling with chronic insomnia and are looking for a healthy, natural approach for resolution.

Absolutely fantastic info
Absolutely fantastic information. This book points out in a very straightforward way what you need to do to get a good night's sleep. I have to admit that I used the book along with recommendations from my doctor but have no doubt I could have helped my situation by just listening to the book on my own. Getting the sleep I need and no drugs necessary!

Interesting
I personally do not have sleep issues, but I will have my mother use this and see if it helps at all. This guidebook is interesting in its thorough dive into all the reasons you might be having trouble sleeping, and suggestions on how to alter things for a better sleep experience. The sleep logs and the few pages of deep thought writing look simple enough to do.

I found the author to be very credible given his background and professional experience doing working at sleep research clinics. This book provides background information on the physical, environmental and psychological factors that contribute to insomnia and offers concrete recommendations for how to address them.
