The narration is terrible - how has no one noted this?

I was really looking forward to this audiobook based on the reviews; however, I could not get into the book whatsoever because the narration is so brutal to listen to. Truly, truly terrible. It’s the most sterile sounding narration one could ever imagine. The content is interesting, but again, I was so distracted by the lifeless narration that I found myself half-listening. Quite upset about wasting a valuable credit on this.

What a Great Book

I just wanted to say that this book was and is one of the better self help books for people who are struggling with confidence, empathy and anxiety (imo). During my time reading I've recommended this book and gifted it to so many of my friends. The narrator is a little bland but I didn't struggle to stay focused like other self help books I've listed to. Thank you to the author.

Sort of like listening to someone reading a list for 2 hours

I get the feeling that this author had some sort of social media contest dependant on people leaving this book a 5 star review. I'm sure there is great content but the way it's presented is frankly boring... No personal stories or connection to the reader. It was a bit like listening to a textbook.

Nicely spoken voice book that tells you how to stretch your confidence level to achieve in life what one would easily give up trying to achieve due to lack of confidence. Very motivating audiobook.

Meet my expectations.

This audiobook motivated me to in a different perspective. All about self-efficacy. How you can boost it and how things are normal if you feel incapable of doing something but gives ways to improve it. Short and easy listening. Now time to apply it.

Excellent advice presented in a very easy to unde

While generally self-help audiobooks are very elaborative and do not set the stage quick, this audiobooks is different as it dwells into the topic quick and clear with giving simple examples which are relatable and recommendations which can be attempted.

Magnificent guidance exhibited in a straightforwa

A good audiobook about how to relax and unwind from day to day stresses of life. The author gives less obvious solutions such as fasting for at least 24 hrs a week, keeping a daily ritual and listening to it. How to get away from the noises of the big city life. Overall a good audiobook.

This was a eye opening exposition of what it mean

Having listened to a lot of audiobooks on how to build self-confidence, this is the first one I have to listen to that focused primarily on the core concept that self-efficacy is the main problem.

Boring, clinical,unhelpful

I seriously do not understand how this book ended up with such a good overall rating score. It's very clinically written, no good examples, not easy to understand and the guy reading it sounds like a broken computer, often repeating words and putting in pauses wherever he finds suitable, bought the book based on reviews, now regretting it.
