Publisher's Summary

Charisma is that special and exceptional talent that makes you discernible, without even trying hard. It’s not about being obnoxious and stentorian. However, it’s that magnetizing aura that captures everyone’s attention and keen interest.

Through this book, Daniel takes you through the significance and applications of charisma. This is not a book that will make you charismatic in two days. Instead, it is a book that will lay the groundwork for your success journey.

Charisma is a trait most applicable in leadership and is described as a set of capabilities or personal attributes that make an individual stand out.

The truth is that we are all born very different and unique, and this means in all aspects, including our personalities. The author, however, believes that charisma is something that grows with you depending on the experiences you have in life and the environment. You are the one to decide how confident and charismatic you should be by choosing to believe in yourself and also exercising self-love. This will be viewed in how skillfully you can articulate ideas, goals, and visions.

Here is a preview of what you will learn...

  • Charismatic behaviors.
  • Elements of charisma.
  • Presentation and spotlight.
  • Different charisma styles.
  • And more...

DO NOT BUY UNDER ANY CIRMUSTANCES

And that for many reasons. First this book is full of filler material and lots of paragraphs that give no actual info. It is filled with things like "to be charismatic you should be confident" but nothing on HOW, and things like "introverts are not shy because interovertness is not shyness". Second, this is a messy rip-off of The Charisma Myth, same ideas, same exercises and sometimes same paragraphs!
Got through the first three chapters and couldn't continue.
Exchanging this.

Also all these reviews are fake.
The narrator was quite energetic though.

Reads like a list of attributes

Not sure whether it’s the style of writing or the way it’s read, but the tone often sounds like points put together in list. No flow. Not super insightful either - basic.
Not for me. Stopping in the middle.

A life-changer for young people struggling

I have Asperger syndrome myself, and the best way of compensating for any shortcomings is self-awareness and this books teaches it very well.

Great tips without being long-winded!

There are some great strategies for finding new topics and ways to engage people. Finally, something to talk about other than the weather! I’m going to a big conference and this was just what I needed to point me in the direction for some prep work before meeting a lot of new people.

Robot narrative, less than usefull information

Body language 90%? If I hear that balogna again, ill vomit. Than refund this book because 90% is worthless according to your own statement. Holy cow, how you hold a coffee cup relay your personhood? Are you crazy? Im a nurse 30 years and body languages vary so much from person to person, its pointless unless some read a book like this then they appear to be robotic, very bad actor, as trustworthy as a used car sales man. Subconscious untrustworthy.

Not what I expected

Considering the high ratings I’m blown away by the content of this book. How can you have charisma? According to this book, simply be confident, don’t just be average, and have positive influence and social skills.

An unrigorous collection of oughts statements

This book is simply the author's opinion of what people should do, hidden behind a thousand "Charismatic people always / never ..." statements. There is no objective definition of charisma. There are no case studies. There are no examples of immoral charismatic people, which sounds strange. History is littered with immoral, charismatic individuals. However, the author is conflating charisma with morality so such examples are impossible under this flawed construction.

So this book is simply a collection of truisms which the average reader will have heard in nearly countless folkisms and PBAs. Highly disappointing

Predictable and cheesey

Your stereotypical clawingly cheesey self-help book. Just be confident. There, I've saved you 5 hours of your life. You're welcome.

full of vague generalisations and explanations

this isn't as good as other books on charisma really. it's more like an intro at a seminar on what charisma is, as opposed to how yo become charismatic yourself.

Cheap. Shallow and bad

Unoriginal. Too short. No examples.

Maybe if you're 8 you can find value in this book. Scam!

OK if you really don't know much about charisma.

I found the book to be mostly superficial in information. Little depth and minimal implementation. The author seems to only be addressing straight men, a point that comes up numerous times.
You'd be better off reading how to win friends and influence people.
The narration is really cheesy and sounds a bit robotic with no emotional emphasis whatsoever.
Merciful in its brevity if you listen at double speed or more.

The Reader Needs Replaced

I’m only at Chapter 2 but I’m zoning out. The reader can make or break a book - there’s an irony when you’re listening to a book about charisma and the person you have to listen to lacks it.

Sadly, even though it’s a short book - I’m not sure I can listen to this guy for even just 3 hours.
