Publisher's Summary

Would you like to be appreciated by the people around you?

What if I told you that with just a few lines you could impress whoever you want?

Have you ever noticed that the people you love the most are the people who make you laugh?

Laughter, an involuntary contagious reaction, is a way to connect with others and convey information about social situations.

Laughter can relieve feelings of discomfort, anger, or sadness and has the power to make you feel close to others.

Laughing is a reaction that involves the brain, usually the instinctive part in the case of silly and/or simple jokes and other parts of the brain in the case of more sophisticated and/or intellectual jokes.

Some people are fun by nature, but being fun is also a set of skills that can be learned.

Here's what you'll learn in this fun guide:

  • How to understand others through the science of laughter
  • Tips for enhancing your image to make a memorable impression
  • The art of self-irony to displace anyone
  • The anatomy of a joke
  • Examples of practical jokes and exercises
  • How to post videos, photos, and viral posts on the internet
  • Emergency maneuvers if you don't like your jokes

By using the techniques provided in this manual, you will be exceptionally entertaining without ever getting taken for a clown or being considered an idiot.

When you finish listening to this book, which is actually a crash course, the "diploma" you will receive will not be a scroll with your name on it, but invaluable knowledge and tools on the science of laughter, helping you to be a great person to be with; a person who expresses joy and confidence.

Broader than comedy

Rooted in comedy with a philosophical approach to character building. sure if this will help everyone, but it is an interesting listen nonetheless.

The only thing funny is passing this for a book

No substance to the book. No good jokes . I returned it as soon as he said if you trying to be a comedian you should give up because it takes years … that’s not good advice at all. Comedy is about putting yourself out there and being vulnerable

TERRIBLE!!!!!!

This is nothing but a money grab! He put no real effort into this book, I really tried to give it a chance but I had to quit at 30 mins left because his ideas and jokes are terrible.

Not for me

I’m interested in becoming a professional comedian and because of this, I’m currently studying comedy and I’m trying to learn how to be funny. After reading and currently reading other books with titles similar to this one, I can tell you, by comparison, this book was written by someone trying to make a quick cash grab.

How to be charismatic

This book shares great recipes to boost your self confidence and become charismatic. I really enjoyed this book and I noticed that the personality traits described here are shared by all charismatic people I know - including my ex boss. I think this book gives great tips to apply, and even to have a higher perception of oneself.

Humor is serious business!

Easily make people laugh is a great reminder on all the simple things we seem to overlook. As a humorous speaker, I wanted to see ways I could improve my humor. The author's style is simple, straightforward and witty. I did not realize there was so much that goes behind humor. Humor is serious business after all. I would say this is a bold topic to take up and not so easy subject that everyone can handle. The author has done justice.

Enjoyable Audiobook

The narrator is personable, easy to like and follow. Feels like a tour guide you've known for years, taking your down unfamiliar paths and making you comfortable with them. I especially enjoy the honesty about there not being one universal answer, but that you should embrace your own particular brand of humor, by showing you how to embrace your particular brand of confidence.

Everyone Knows a Charming Person

We all know, or have known, at least one person who is charming. They share similar traits of a good sense of humor and a focused attention on what others are saying. They make us feel good and important. I have always wanted to be that kind of person, but had too many self doubts and lacked confidence. This book makes it seem attainable to become a charming and charismatic person. I will certainly give the suggestions a try.
